Doesn't she defeat her own logic by saying she wants her kids to evolve, but she doesn't believe in evolution? And by her logic, saying she doesn't believe in evolution, doesn't that mean that she's gay? Because people who don't believe in evolution are homosexuals. I am pro gay marriage, let anybody marry whoever they want to. Just stop spreading hate and open your mind up a bit.

It's funny that she chose ducks as her example. It's true, some species of ducks do mate for life. However, some of the widest variety of mating strategies in nature are represented across duck species - it is one of the most frequently cited examples in all of science. Virtually every species or family of duck species practice a different mating strategy from the next (including homosexuality).

For the record, this is the only homeschooler I've ever seen say something this stupid. I know a lot of them and they're all accomplished, intelligent, independent thinkers. Opposition to homeschooling is based around the belief that the state can and should provide everything for everyone.
