Battle #35 - Vote Now! | All Winners | Hall of Fame

About Photoshop Battles

A subreddit for people to use photo manipulation software to create new images.

Official weekly battles are held where entries are removed for the first 24-hours to give an opportunity for more detailed submissions.

Battle winners pick the photo for the next battle (only upvotes are counted) and all entrants are given subreddit flair.

Rules for Submissions:

I. No Requests or Questions

  • Requests, such as "Please photoshop me or my friend", can be posted to /r/picrequests.

  • Questions, such as "Where else could he be?", or "What else could she be sticking in her mouth?" are not permitted.

II. Titles

  • Your title must be descriptive. Please accurately describe the subject of the photo.

  • No cliches such as "this has potential", "lets see what you guys can do", or "make this epic".

III. Image content

  • Images must be at least 500x500 pixels.
  • No technically low-quality images. Focus, framing, lighting, etc. are important.
  • No links to facebook.
  • NSFW tags must be used generously.
  • No albums, submissions must be a single image. NEW RULE

Submissions that do not follow the rules will be subject to removal by the moderators.

If you notice a submission that violates the rules, please report it to the mods, and send us a message letting us know why it was reported.

Voting

  • Please vote based on quality of work. Lazy shops shouldn't win just because they made you laugh. You can still vote funny stuff (we can't control you) but keep in mind that people spend lots of time making some really good submissions and deserve as much recognition as the next guy.

  • Downvoting constructively, in threads, is recommended.

  • Please do not downvote submissions because they do not have obvious potential. An image that does not have an easy punchline may be the most creatively inspiring to others.

Please report inappropriate content to the mods.

              They could have taken out student loans, or worked hard and gotten a scholarship. My parents are working class parents and I'm going to college without them paying for it. Plus, with them all being minorities the chances they have for scholarships is much much higher than what I had.

              Yes, but that means that people born into poor families will generally require more initiative and effort to succeed than people born into rich families. Some level of laziness for a rich kid = substantially harder work from a poor kid. Lame.

              No, the "rich kids" still have to work hard to get into college and work hard to graduate. And like I said, there is a ton more scholarships and financial aid for "poor kids" to offset this.

              Also, it's not just about deciding to work hard. Kids in a lot of poor families will have parents who are bad role models who didn't encourage them to set goals or teach them work ethic. Kids in families who have the means will surely be given more of an opportunity to pick up hobbies, develop skills, maybe get tutoring if they need it, and they will be in an environment of success that they will be driven to replicate.

              I have to point out that a rich kid that works hard, graduates and gets a cushy entry level job where Daddy's golf buddies will push him up the chain of command is a far cry from the poor kid that gets a student loan, works hard, graduates, gets a cushy entry level job where no one knows him from Adam, is financially crippled for the first 15 or so years anyway because of the massive interest on the student loan, then gets passed over for promotion because the rich kid's Dad is golf buddies with the CEO.

              As Yofi has stated, achieving a level of laziness for a rich kid requires a much longer period of substantially harder work with none of the breaks from the poor kid.
