Every time I see this stupid costume, I cringe. I'm a member of my local Ghostbuster costuming franchise and as cheap as it is to get a flight suit with all the accurate patches together, I have no idea why any woman would put this crap on. There's so much wrong with it beyond the upside-down proton pack... and it's not even flattering! After being told that I'm sexy in my Ghostbuster cosplay numerous times, despite me disagreeing, I just don't see the point of something so disgustingly inaccurate.

Bitter much? I know. Sorry. Ongoing frustration among my fellow Girlbusters. End rant.

In all, I normally quite appreciate a girl dressing up like a sexy sci-fi icon for Halloween, but I don't appreciate this costume for some reason. She's not to blame. She's a hot young girl, and I don't think I would let my issues with her costume get in the way of anything.
But if it was my girlfriend trying to impress me, I'd be (silently) disappointed in her. Not just the upside down pack, the whole thing seems crappy.
