The red under the yellow plastidip? No it won't be, it's just like vinyl over the paint. If anything the red under the plastidip will be preserved better and stay in better condition than the rest.

Smart cars are not very painted, actually, the red panels on that car are removable plastic clip-on pieces.

Exactly! If you find a cooperative other Smart Car owner you can swap body panels with them in a lunch break and drive home in a different coloured car!

So you could do Harlequin Smart car ala the VW Golf? Trade a different body panel with each smart car owner you meet. There isnt a single one on GIS. :-(

I've had black plasti-dip on my white painted wheels for almost half a year now and it still looks great. plasti-dip is legit.

In my experience, plastidip can take quite a punch. It'll take a pretty solid sized rock to peel some off.
