Not even the first reincarnation. After RPG, a dozen "Ridiculously Photogenic <insert profession or activity>" memes came out. Same fate every time - it lingers in popularity for a week or so, then fades.

It's not so much a new meme, more a sequel. To a sequel. Something like Final Destination 8.

I don't quite understand why players sometimes dive into the endzone for a touchdown with no defenders around. Yes, they have pads on but that would still hurt. Has a player ever injured themselves doing that?

Actually the ball was thrown too far and he was diving to catch it. I don't think he is actually smiling or showboating... most likely just a weird grimace and perfect timing from the camera man.

thats Terrell Owens in your gif. and he is not on any teams atm so no its not him. he also has not played for newengland. He is one of the best WR in NFL history when it comes to stats, though he gets a load of heat though for being somewhat of a goof. Brandon Lloyd is in the OP's picture.
