Interesting. I think by accident I found different photography of the same guy. Check picture at 1:25 of this video.
Compare it with the photo. The same position, trousers torn on the right knee and same black thing on a forehead..
What do you think ?

I don't think it's a rip in the trousers, I think he's wearing shorts. Not positive though.

The one thing that jumps out at me is the fact that it looks like the soldier in the photograph has a cloth cover over his helmet, while the soldier in the video appears not to.

99% sure they're the same. Look at the position of the other people, look at the whole photo:

Look at debris on the trench walls. It all lines up. Crazy seeing two views of the same thing, that's pretty rare even now... I remember seeing other pictures of Tiananmen Square and being shocked.

(As mentioned in the other thread) It is the same, just a different angle. Full picture below. Helmet on the trench wall on the left lines up, so does doc/patient in the middle and doc standing looking at cameras in the back/right.

The various items around the scene seem to match up between pictures as well as the positioning of the people. I'd vote yes.

I don't think there is anything particularly strange abuot this. I think the glistening (tears?) on his eyes makes it look creepier than it really is. It's just a guy smiling.

Also the bad teeth would suggest someone who had had no dental care in his entire life.
