I love how the impact of the punch in the background syncs up perfectly with the impact of the arrow. Secondary action like that really makes scenes so much more visually interesting - even if you don't really notice it your brain does!

Except that it takes like 5-10 arrows to kill things until you get to the upper levels.

I'm a sneaky Wood elf archer in Skyrim. Love it. Dropping enemies with your bow when they're charging at you is so satisfying.

Playing as an archer on master with modded +50% enemy damage +30% enemy hp definitely doesn't look like this!

Honestly playing as an archer ruined the game for me. If I didn't clear the room while still in Sneak, I would just mow them down as they funneled down the corridor I was in.

This, except with sneaky heavy armor crossbow. The simple joy of having a bandit go "What was that?" "HURRGH" and fall over is just beautiful.

Really? Were you playing on the lowest difficulty because bows did very little damage when the game was first released.
