Yeah the pictures sucked but I loved the face-imposed mini games, the photo editor (goofy overlays), and the fact that you could print the photos you took... it was truly pretty awesome for what it was long ago. Now that the 3DS has a camera, I wish it's suite came even close to what Game Boy Camera did, or hell, just call the included software "GB Camera 3DS".

Also, seriously though. Why did they even bother making the music/OST for Game Boy Camera so good?! It wasn't even needed, but it was awesome to listen to in the headphones.

Hmmmm. Is it just me, or does the background look like it's own image? As if OP pointed his phone at the picture, and took a picture of the result. Those four dudes just look way too 1-dimensional to be part of the actual shot.....and i'm pretty sure volby is czech for 'choices' or 'options'.

Not sure if that says Valby or Volby (Czech for "options" as stated elsewhere) but if it is Valby, why don't phones give the location anymore? I remember cruising around Copenhagen with my Nokia cell and it would update with my location wherever I went. It wasn't that useful but was kind of neat to see.

I logged in just to comment on this trend. Everywhere, from Reddit to Engadget to Gizmodo, I see sooooo many positive comments for a phone from Nokia that has not been released yet. Yes the photos look good but no one has the 920 in their hands to test it.

Also most of the positive comments sounds weirdly business like. For example the one above earlier - "I think the lumia is easily the most interesting phone the market." Who the hell writes like this?

I love Nokia. They make awesome hardware. But I think they're kind of overdoing it with the Lumia 920 camera tests. First comparing to Galaxy S III and iPhone 4S. Then to Galaxy S III and iPhone 5. Repeat the whole thing again, only in low light conditions. Then they demonstrate their anti-shake technology. Then they compare that in low light conditions.

They've been riding the camera train too long. Show us some other features, Nokia!

I love Nokia.

I did as well, I have a Nokia phone, and my spouse another, and considered getting their flagship N900 with Linux, but... now when Nokia become mixed with Microsoft I see Nokia as a dead company, without any Linux future. My next phone will likely be a Galaxy SIII (which is available with 2GB RAM 8-) and... I'm not Apple compatible... Apple was once great (apart from their stupid case against Microsoft which started 1985, but that was before they mixed into phones and pads... Today Apple is behaving so stupid (like their case against Samsung...) that I do not consider them a serious company any more :(

That kind of phone I like is Openmoko, with not only open software, but open hardware as well, that is the future.

It is strange though, it was very hard to find any info about the N9, but finally I found it here 8-)

MeeGo, Zeiss-optics, 512MB RAM.

Even though there are Samsung Galaxy up to 2GB RAM, with 4 cores, I would like this N9 as the phone.

Also, with a Meego system you don't need to root it, if i have understood it right, as you have to do with all other systems, to be able to use the operating system in a sane way.

Meego is also more like a full Linux/Unix compared to the quite crippled Android systems (although possible to install Debian as a complement).

That's good to hear. I think the lumia is easily the most interesting phone the market. It's too bad Windows is struggling so much to get things sorted out (upgrade path, release dates.. etc) they are the only platform that seems to be trying really innovating stuff these days.

Agreed. My first cell was a Nokia that I got around 2005. One day I could not find my phone anywhere. After looking for a couple weeks, I just assumed I left it somewhere or someone took it. Once spring came and all the snow had melted I found it right underneath what had just been a huge snowbank. It was slightly crushed but when I put all the pieces back together it worked. No shit. Two months in the snow and it still worked.
