When I was a christian, this always bothered me. If god is supposed to be so loving, forgiving, and powerful - why couldn't he save the one person that meant the most to him? Years later, I found the answer to that question. There was no way for him to be saved, because he nor god were ever real at all.

I don't see why God couldn't forgive Satan. That would be the highest form of forgiveness. Many Christians would call me a heretic for saying that. But if my view on God's love and forgiveness shatter the boundaries that traditional Christianity has put on it, I would be proud to call myself heretic.

For the record, I know several Christians who have said they pray or have prayed for Satan.

[–]DoubleRaptor 3 points4 points ago

That kinda suggests to me that prayer doesn't work.

Of course it doesn't. But Mark Twain asked a question. And I had an answer. You can't just leave Mark Twain hanging.
