Does it bother anybody else that the more "important" the dwarf, the more normal the nose? I feel like the prosthetic's look great, but it bothers me that most of them are obvious prosthetics and one or two just use their natural noses. The bigger the prosthetic, the less seriously that character should be taken.

It's not an absolute relationship: Fili and Kili are both equally badass (and, apart from Throin and maybe Balin, equally important), and Fili's the only one with prosthetics.

Besides, the book explicitly says that Fili's nose is ridiculously big.

I'm the goofy comic relief character! You can tell that because I have food and just couldn't put it down during the photo op! Double chin because fat people are lovable!

Well even in the Book Bombur (the fat one) is comic relief and The Hobbit has a lighter feel as a book not as dark as TLoTR

Is it just me or do 2/3 dwarves look completely retarded. I'm really looking forward to the movie, but why do they all have to have some sort of crazy ass hair or beard weave? If all the men in LOTR can look 'normal' then the dwarves should look like dwarves, not like some over designed cartoon.
