They wake up and have a breakfast of fresh off-the-tree eucalyptus, which is highly poisonous, thankfully they're resistant enough not to die from it, but do get rather intoxicated with it. Having had a stomachful of the noxious leaves, they proceed to keel over and fall asleep.
