Free speech is a natural right. I understand how it may appear hypocritical but people who recieve government money CAN speak out. To state otherwise would be to imply that slaves who slept in cabins, ate food, and wore clothing given to them by their master were hypocrits by speaking out against slavery.

Also, since it is literally impossible to return all of the stolen money that goes into the treasury each tax season, it is no more immoral to take government money than picking up a stack of cash on the street. Not only that, but if the person who is collecting it has paid taxes at any point, than they would be simply reclaiming what was already stolen from them.

Another point, if there is going to be perpetual theft/extortion, i would rather see it go towards people who need money rather than lining the pockets of defense contractors, bureaucrats, lobbiests, drug-war profiteers, and all of the other evil things that the government does.
