I'm confused. When people are trying to slander Obama, why do they always use his full name? Are they actually trying to draw some kind of reference to Saddam Hussein?

[–]Phunk131 228 points229 points ago

Because Racism.

[–]slayerrrrr 136 points137 points ago

Yes, and because it's much easier to accuse him of being a Muslim if he has a funny-sounding name.

[–]beamrider 23 points24 points ago

Didn't he once make a joke about being from the planet Krypton, because only a Kryptonian would think "Barrack Hussein Obama" could be an average name?

Of course, the last time a Kryptonian entered US politics, he only had to flip his name around. Even if Gore-Al only made VP :-)

[–]alucard_3501 4 points5 points ago

KNEEL BEFORE ZOD!

[–]nickminunni 38 points39 points ago

Not funny sounding, just different.

[–]Archangelus 72 points73 points ago

And so Jesus spoke to the Nephites, saying: "Black people with funny names are evil. If you become Mormon you'll be white though so it's all good bro."

-The Book of Moron

[–]excommunicated 6 points7 points ago

Thought you were joking, checked the book, and it was spot on. Well... they used another term for "black people", but the rest is accurate.

joke, lighten up

[–]AC_Mentor 2 points3 points ago

Another book to reject?! Will it ever stop, ffs...

[–]Tobskin 2 points3 points ago

i think youll find its been around a little while..

[–]bayesianqueer 9 points10 points ago

Funny sounding if you're a Real Murkin'!

[–]pciespresso 3 points4 points ago

As a pubic wig, I can confirm this.

[–]collinc2343[S] 58 points59 points ago

Yes, they are.

[–]elbruce 14 points15 points ago

Oddly enough, Mitt Romney's middle name is Mitt.

[–]ItsPronouncedTAYpas 23 points24 points ago

*Mittens.

[–]Dracomister7 13 points14 points ago

Great now I can never take Mitt Romney seriously cause I'll be calling him Mittens

[–]mparlett 17 points18 points ago

For further amusement. http://littlefacemitt.tumblr.com/

[–]-Malo- 3 points4 points ago

Thank you for that. Made my fucking day.

[–]BlackjackChess 2 points3 points ago

Have you seen "The Cloak" on YouTube yet? Because of it, almost every time Mittens opens his mouth I think of the Floating Head of Noir Legend opening the top of his head and dumping alcohol into it;

"Oh, Mitteeeennnns...."

[–]doaftheloaf 3 points4 points ago

you took him seriously before? he believes in kolob and magic underwear.

[–]vauux 16 points17 points ago

It is sad that in the year 2012, people still can't get over someone having a different religion, skin color, sexual preference, etc. If you are a human being, that is all that should matter. Just come out and say you are a racist intolerant fuck that doesn't like Obama because hes black. It will make it easier for me to ignore you and treat you like the ignorant asshole that you are.

[–]mojonacho 3 points4 points ago

Notice that they never mention what the H stands for in the other guy's name.

[–]StarManta 3 points4 points ago

It stands for "Willard".

[–]xteve 3 points4 points ago

Of course. We're talking about craven and cynical people; if they can gain a percentage by implying an aspersion of their opponent, they will do it without conscience.

[–]jonaheim88 2 points3 points ago

that is exactly what they are doing.

[–]goletaal 3 points4 points ago

It's because veiled racism is easier (and more cowardly) than blatant racism.

[–]catechizer 195 points196 points ago

If that doesn't violate the tax code for non-profit status, I don't know what does...

[–]jpeger0101 40 points41 points ago

I saw something yesterday about some 1000 preachers going against the IRS by sponsoring a candidate so that they can 'run from the pulpit'.

[–]apullin 22 points23 points ago

Excellent point; are there any examples of churches, especially major outfits, losing tax exempt status due to political actions?

[–]smnytx 18 points19 points ago

I only know of this one instance. All Saints Episcopal in Pasadena, CA is a very progressive church, and was investigated for comments made by the Rector against the reelection of GWB, just a week before the 2004 elections. It always struck me as kind of ironic, frankly.

Edited: linky (the first link didn't work due to parentheses in the wiki title)

[–]BlackjackChess 7 points8 points ago

"They're trying to take away our religious freedoms as Christian Americans!" said the right-winger who did the same.

The irony, and hypocrisy, is very strong.

[–]RandomMandarin 2 points3 points ago

IOKIYAR, that's all ye need to know.

[–]Phillile 5 points6 points ago

Many, many, many churches are defying the IRS to revoke their special status by blatantly ignoring the provisions that bar them from certain political actions. As of yet, the government has been pussying out of taking any action (for fear of backlash).

[–]Szos 4 points5 points ago

That's the beauty of the right-wing playing the god-card...

If the IRS tries going after these churches for meddling in political affairs, it makes it look like all the fear mongering from the Right that Obama is anti-religion look like a legit complaint.  The churches will play the victim which will just make their believers even more angry with Obama.

It really is a brilliant strategy.   Vile, disgusting and illegal, but brilliant none the less.

[–]neonblue120 74 points75 points ago

That's not fair... one of those people is real.

[–]complex_reduction 29 points30 points ago

WHERE'S THE CERTIFICATE OF EXISTENCE?!

[–]neonblue120 31 points32 points ago

Holy shit I don't even have one of those... *Slowlystartstofadeaway

[–]Youreallpuffs 6 points7 points ago

Hi, welcome to the nonexistence. The place where things that dont exist exist. We have blackjack and hookers.

[–]neonblue120 8 points9 points ago

Jesus? What are you doing here?

[–]wreck94 5 points6 points ago

The hookers.

[–]mindbleach 2 points3 points ago

But... blackjack and hookers exist.

[–]Mikey8152 2 points3 points ago

He never said anything about things that do exist not existing there

[–]TheLastPureOne 28 points29 points ago

At least we know Barack exists. That's something.

[–]ONXwat 19 points20 points ago

I have seen barack obama with my very own eyes, checkmate christians.

[–]JesusHusseinChrist 5 points6 points ago

Well, you never see them together, maybe they're the same person.

[–]sdbear 48 points49 points ago

So, what we have here is a Christian saying that another Christian is evil and that all Christians should vote for a guy who believes that all non-Mormon Christian churches are an abomination in the eyes of God (who stands six feet high and lives on a planet that orbits a star named Kolob). Yep, makes perfect sense.

[–]sid2112 20 points21 points ago

I rate all religions about the same, baloney whether it comes from "Heaven" or"Kolob".

[–]Fuck_ALL_Religion 3 points4 points ago

^

[–]Lots42 11 points12 points ago

But at least it's a white dude who thinks your churches are abominations.

[–]sdbear 6 points7 points ago

There is that.

[–]CaffeinatedGuy 2 points3 points ago

I'm confused, are they accusing someone of being muslim and backing someone who is outspokenly mormon? How does a mormon get the christian vote?

[–]rhymes_with_truck 46 points47 points ago

False dichotomy. They forgot Satan.

[–]slackerdc 15 points16 points ago

Praise hail Satan.

[–]BuzzKillingtonThe4th 9 points10 points ago

All hail Stan.

[–]richalex2010 4 points5 points ago

[–]jpeger0101 24 points25 points ago

They consider the democratic party to be satan worshippers because the democrats 'help' the 'poor'.

[–]mindbleach 6 points7 points ago

Fuckin' poor people! Did Jesus ever say anything about helping them? N-

Wow, really? Like... all the time? I need to reconsider my life.

[–]BlackjackChess 3 points4 points ago

And then mindbleach continued living life the way he did, because he ain't no pussy "libtard". The end.

[–]flippingyouoff 9 points10 points ago

That's assuming that POTUS is not Satan.

[–]Asaoirc 9 points10 points ago

We already had an article talking about how Obama has been a terrible antichrist.

[–]NotYou007 3 points4 points ago

You joking, right?

[–]Asaoirc 4 points5 points ago

Lemme look for it...

ah, here we go:Don't worry, it's Cracked

[–]NotYou007 4 points5 points ago

Cracked can be funny and serious though. Thanks for the link.

[–]GriffTheYellowGuy 0 points1 point ago

I'd totally pick the book of satan if I had to follow a religious text. I DO look divine.

[–]TheWhyteMaN 17 points18 points ago

To think someone actually took time out of their life to conceive and execute this idea, is absolutely hysterical. And utterly fucking sad.

[–]TheRealLeet 13 points14 points ago

Why do Americans think that Obama is the devil?

[–]CombustibleLemons118 30 points31 points ago

People have also said Ronald reagan was the devil and Bill Clinton was the devil. They say that cuz that's all they've got. Anything they don't like is the devil.

[–]collinc2343[S] 30 points31 points ago

Yep. A little under half the country is Momma from Waterboy. :(

[–]TurangaPeach 10 points11 points ago

That number is considerably higher here in the south.

[–]collinc2343[S] 9 points10 points ago

I know...weeps

[–]charliedog1965 3 points4 points ago

weeping with you

[–]Lots42 3 points4 points ago

Momma learned from her mistakes.

[–]collinc2343[S] 4 points5 points ago

Which just makes me sad that life isn't more like a movie.

[–]Lots42 12 points13 points ago

Because he has some ideas they do not agree with.

Like having darker skin.

[–]collinc2343[S] 11 points12 points ago

Why do crazy people think that Obama is the devil?

Remember, over half the country voted for him and it would be incredibly surprising if he lost the re-election. Please don't judge all of us by our craziest of crazies.

[–]RedAero 2 points3 points ago

TBH, these recent polls show that the craziest of crazies are a pretty numerous bunch.

[–]keeblur 9 points10 points ago

Where did you get this? Aren't Churches not supposed to take political stances, although I know most do anyway, but this is pretty blatant, as well as in print.

[–]collinc2343[S] 6 points7 points ago

A friend on fb shared it from one of their friends. I thought it was original because it wasn't shared from a group. After I posted it I used google image search and realized it was a repost. From Karma Decay, it seems like this is the original post:

http://www.reddit.com/r/atheism/comments/x87yb/found_this_under_my_cars_wiper_coming_out_of_the/

But who knows. OP of that thread never posted in it.

Also, I'm pretty sure Churches have the right to take political stances. I could be wrong about that though.

[–]loverboyxD 3 points4 points ago

They can, but they cannot both receive tax-exempt status and tell people who they can and cannot vote for.

[–]ybnormalman 3 points4 points ago

As an entity, a church can lose its tax exempt status for engaging in partisan political activity. The individuals within the church are allowed to do pretty much whatever they want since it's easy for the church to deny any affiliation with or sanctioning of an individual congregants's actions.

[–]wojovox 7 points8 points ago

And this is when religion becomes useful for those in power.

[–]Lots42 3 points4 points ago

Something that was figured out thousands and thousands of years ago.

[–]fervoli 6 points7 points ago

No representation without taxation.

[–]NeonDeathtrap 9 points10 points ago

WHOA! CHECKMATE LIBERALS! YEEHAW! NOW EXCUSE ME WHILE I WORSHIP AT THE ALTER OF RONALD MCDONALD AND SELL MY SOUL TO WILFORD BRIMLEY FOR CHEAP DIABEETUS TESTING EQUIPMENT!!! KPOW! KPOW!

Sorry about that.. this is how I imagine the person who made these clearly constitutional voting ballots must be like.

Were these ballots in circulation with Al Gore's name in Florida back in 2000, by any chance?

[–]Xerazal 11 points12 points ago

Lol people are stupid.. I like how right wing republicans are acting like Obama is the anti-Christ and saying "god will hate you if you vote Obama." they're using religion as it was meant to be used, as a tool to instill fear on the people and make sure they don't question anything. Just accept the ruler and what he says because like they say, god would hate you unless this guy was in office.

[–]SucksAtFormatting 5 points6 points ago

May Obama, great son of the prokaryotes, crush all oppression under his mighty thumb. May ye burn churches to the ground and sacrifice Christians to appease the spirit of Charles Darwin. May ye harvest the blood of aborted fetuses on the day of celebration. Amen.

~2 Barack 1:31

[–]Opium_War_victim 3 points4 points ago

Didn't their God said the same thing about Mormons?

[–]Sir_Narwhal 4 points5 points ago

Ima check number two. Obama is the boss.

[–]ItsPronouncedTAYpas 3 points4 points ago

Obama just wants to be president, he's not running for Jesus.

[–]Punkwasher 5 points6 points ago

Right, Christians, the world is a battlefield in the epic universe spanning conflict between the devil and god and you are the only people prepared for the fight.

Right!

Sure!

Of course!

Why not?

I like to feel important, too, but soon I realized that the universe does not revolve around me... like when I was... 15?

[–]collinc2343[S] 5 points6 points ago

Shit, I just figured out this is a repost. Well, in case you haven't seen it I'm going to leave it up.

EDIT: Well, I got more karma for this than the original did. I would have to call that a great success.

[–]Ignaddio 6 points7 points ago

Quick litmus test for whether or not it's a repost:

Did you make it? If no, then it's probably a repost. Don't sweat it.

[–]collinc2343[S] 4 points5 points ago

I know. :(

This is only going to make it worse, but someone posted it on facebook. Even worse, it was a share. But it was a share from one of their friends and not from a group, so I thought it was original from their friend.

[–]Lots42 2 points3 points ago

If it was more then two weeks ago, I don't care.

Also, I never saw it before so I doubly do not care.

[–]LeetroyJnkns 11 points12 points ago

Fuck that. I'm an atheist Libertarian.

[–]chnlswmr 30 points31 points ago

At least your delusion is political and not religious.

[–]Laboii 3 points4 points ago

My name can't be found in the book of life (I think (didn't read lol)), does that mean I'll be thrown into the lake of fire? :( this makes me a sad panda

[–]poleethman 2 points3 points ago

Couldn't the same be said about Romney/Bush/Reagan? I bet you won't see these made up when their guy is in office.

[–]LS_DJ 2 points3 points ago

None of the above?

[–]benjetta96 3 points4 points ago

Note: Not all Atheists are Democrats.

[–]Organs 4 points5 points ago

And not all Democrats are atheists. Obama is actually a case in point.

[–]ConnerVonDoom 2 points3 points ago

What the fuck is wrong with whoever wrote that?!

[–]jeffdogg6292 0 points1 point ago

it has occurred to me that the more i see things on r/atheism and listen to atheist news the more a lose the will to live. i used to be an innocent agnostic thinking that religion was the greatest thing in the world. but there is only so much of this type of shit one can take.

[–]harabanaz 2 points3 points ago

[–]Lt_Ziggella_Stardust 1 point2 points ago

where did you get that one? I collect those.

[–]dedliyeti 1 point2 points ago

Only a Christian deals in absolutes.

[–]RustyRapeaXe 2 points3 points ago

absolutely

[–]larg3-p3nis 1 point2 points ago

This type of intentional stupidity should be considered for the Guinness book of world records.

[–]otac0n 1 point2 points ago

Jesus: Savior from hell.

[–]toasty888 1 point2 points ago

my mind just 'sploded on how stupid that flyer is....

[–]Organs 1 point2 points ago

Mine is Bruce Campbell.

[–]Lots42 2 points3 points ago

Ash Williams WOULD make a good President.

He keeps a level head in a crisis, accepts and processes information like a genius and is an expert at diplomacy.

[–]KingChronos 1 point2 points ago

Its funny because worshipers of the state are no better than worshipers of god.

[–]Bbionicjive 1 point2 points ago

Oh god both options are bad!

[–]toomuchblood 2 points3 points ago

I'm laughing because this is something my fundie aunt would bring to me, worrying about my soul.

[–]Lots42 1 point2 points ago

Is this for real?

[–]greekfreak15 0 points1 point ago

on a side note i approve of the shorts

[–]Mrock09 0 points1 point ago

I am an atheist and this offends me

[–]apullin 1 point2 points ago

That's called a "False Dilemma".

[–]sean72b 0 points1 point ago

[–]Painwalker 1 point2 points ago

Does it even cross this person's mind that you don't have to worship someone to support them? Geez. HE'S JUST A FRICKEN PRESIDENT.

[–]catdoctor 0 points1 point ago

Easiest quiz of the day.

[–]eromitlab 1 point2 points ago

There's clearly enough space for a write-in candidate. I'm going with "fuck you and the horse you rode in on."

[–]General_MacArthur 1 point2 points ago

As a religious person I am sorry and ashamed that this happened.

[–]jenkinsear 0 points1 point ago

[x] none of the above

[–]NoMeowMrNiceGuy 1 point2 points ago

False dilemmas can be hilarious.

[–]udbluehens 0 points1 point ago

Those are the only 2 choices, you must have at least 1 lord and savior.

[–]vaultzero 0 points1 point ago

[–]dadrumma 0 points1 point ago

"for you soul"

awesome.

[–]jsmithftw 0 points1 point ago

This is sick. Honestly makes me sick. I dont know what else to say.

[–]Irrelephantless 0 points1 point ago

Dat hangnail...

[–]wallace321 0 points1 point ago

w...t...f... is wrong with these people???

[–]casfacto 1 point2 points ago

They kind of back you in a corner there. I guess I take Barack, but just because he's real.

[–]Rational_Hal 0 points1 point ago

Despite the warning I would go ahead and check both boxes, just to be safe.

[–]whiterabbits1 1 point2 points ago

A perfect example of the "either-or" fallacy.... Public speaking class anyone?

[–]RobeAir 0 points1 point ago

Disgusting! Just disgusting! Get this man some cuticle oil!

[–]FireReadyAim 1 point2 points ago

I wasn't even going to vote for Obama, but if those are my choices...

[–]kindahotntheserhinos 0 points1 point ago

this is so fucked up.

[–]c3r3alkillr 0 points1 point ago

I don't get what that bible verse is supposed to do with the author's point.

[–]Whiskey_Straight 0 points1 point ago

But what if I dislike them both equally?

[–][deleted] 0 points1 point ago

As much as I like the whole 'freedom of speech' thing, I almost wish there were some sort of organization that was responsible for pointing out errors in thinking, e.g. this false dichotomy. That being said, I wouldn't trust anyone to conduct said organization's activities.

[–]fishyguy13 0 points1 point ago

There are two types of religious people 1: extremists like that 2: people who mind there own business.

[–]knockinbootz27 0 points1 point ago

I understand the joke, but noone should ever accept another man as his personal lord and savior anymore than one would accept a mans idea as his personal lord and savior. I think this is something becoming all to prevalent in reality.

[–]itsnotmeokay 1 point2 points ago

I much prefer this option, thank you very much.

[–]slayerrrrr 2 points3 points ago

Better get on board quickly before that bacon shortage hits...!

[–]reemiip 1 point2 points ago

priceless. anyone taking that seriously should be denied political involvement

[–]dearbabyjesus 0 points1 point ago

They do not speak for me

[–]LJRich1971 1 point2 points ago

Well, considering I can SEE Obama.......

tick box

[–]ytsejam6891 0 points1 point ago

Dude, that hangnail looks infected...

[–]LeonChestnut 0 points1 point ago

At least they gave you a choice.

[–]Fathellcatbbq 0 points1 point ago

Well Obama won't damn me to eternal punishment, ban me from eating shellfish, or tell me to kill my son, soooo.....

[–]bogan 0 points1 point ago

The consequences of trusting Barack Obama for your greatest needs are that God Almighty Himself will reject you, just as you have rejected Him.

Well, at least it is not as bad as what was said about Thomas Jefferson during the 1800 election. His deist beliefs were attacked and it was said he "writes aghast the truths of God's words; who makes not even a profession of Christianity; who is without Sabbaths; without the sanctuary, and without so much as a decent external respect for the faith and worship of Christians."

And what would be the fate of the nation if he won the election? One newspaper warned readers:

"Murder, robbery, rape, adultery, and incest will be openly taught and practiced, the air will be rent with the cries of the distressed, the soil will be soaked with blood, and the nation black with crimes.

Reference: American President A Reference Resource

[–]comrade_leviathan 0 points1 point ago

I wish there were a hell for the assholes that create shit like this.

[–]subtype 0 points1 point ago

Jesus Christ is a savior from hell??? Scary!

[–]boitch 0 points1 point ago

For a second I thought this was r/wtf.

[–]amolad 0 points1 point ago

The thing that is BY FAR the most disgusting about this is that these uneducated, ignorant bigots are trying to use God/the bible/Jesus as some kind of justification or authentication of nothing more than their own vile RACISM.

Because that's all this is.

Did these same people reject Bill Clinton like this?

[–]mctowelie 0 points1 point ago

Love this false dichotomy. Either you pray to Jesus or you pray to Obama. Not much middle ground for any of the other deities, like Odin or Joe Pesci.

[–]just_a_lurkin 0 points1 point ago

What the ever loving mother of fuck!? At least Obama is real...

[–]thousandbears 0 points1 point ago

Whichever church handed you that (if it was a church and not some crazy on the street), then they should have their tax exempt status revoked. Any attempt of political swaying in a place of worship that can be founded automatically revokes their tax-status.

Edit: oops, someone else already mentioned that.

[–]retrobuddha 0 points1 point ago

Where did you get this I want One.

[–]Craminit 0 points1 point ago

i like the " Warning! Choose only ONE!" like there is an actual consequence

[–]tritonx 1 point2 points ago

This has to be a joke?

America can't be that tard?

[–]OnTheBloc 0 points1 point ago

I hereby reject Jesus Christ and accept Barack Hussein Obama as my personal lord and savior.

[–]Farscape29 0 points1 point ago

That just doesn't even make any sense. It seems like for every year we move forward, some of us Americans seem to move intellectually backward 5 years.

That's just depressing.

[–]PixelWrangler 1 point2 points ago

This is what is referred to as the logical fallacy of the false dichotomy. Nonetheless, I choose Obama.

[–]Cosmic_Spud 0 points1 point ago

None of the above. I will add however that this post reveals a commonly accepted paradigm. Nobody is allowed to rule themselves. They must either worship at the alter of some imaginary being or at the alter of the state/society.

[–]temujin1234 0 points1 point ago

It's funny that so many fundamentalist Christians identify more with Romney than Obama.

[–]MiSTx93 0 points1 point ago

These people make Christians look bad, we aren't all like that. I hate extremist Christians.

[–]LemonJH 0 points1 point ago

Vote for Obama and be casts into a Lake Of Fire...

wow that could really hurt his campaign

[–]harky 0 points1 point ago

They have a point. The one thing you can say has caused more destruction than religion is nationalism. At least nationalism is some form or another, call it patriotism, call it tribal affiliation, call it what you will. In that there is no doubt. Of course they're creating a false dilemma, but hey, it's a fair point. Yes, if you accept Obama as your lord and master it is as bad as accepting Jesus in the same manner. It seems a fair comparison. They just left off all the options involving sharing similar views without all the worship and other shenanigans. You know, the ones most people identify with...

[–]goletaal 0 points1 point ago

Option 2! Option 2!

[–]fluugenzinsky 0 points1 point ago

The amount of crazy is just... it's impressive.

[–]Anticipator1234 0 points1 point ago

Christian and racist? I'm shocked.

[–]QuickRetort 0 points1 point ago

OMG@@@!@!!!!! MITT ROMNEY IS JESUS CHRIST!!!!! All hail the second coming!!!

AhChooooooooo. . . . . .

[–]phillip88 0 points1 point ago

I'm not aware that the bible mentioned Obama in any of its scriptures, or any associating of the president with any evil entity.

[–]altanic 0 points1 point ago

desperation? racism? (maybe some of both?)

[–]butzsecs 0 points1 point ago

Oh Christians. Thank you for handing out pamphlets showing just how bat shit crazy you are so that those who didn't already know can avoid you as well.

[–]TheMediumPanda -1 points0 points ago

The crappy grammar in the first option confused me. By capitalizing Savior in 'Jesus Christ my Personal Lord and Savior they effectively join them together, leaving the rest of us wondering why Jesus is coming 'from hell'.

[–]beliefsarerelative -1 points0 points ago

I choose both! What're you gonna do about it, huh? Ahahahahahaha!

[–]Fisheswithfeet 0 points1 point ago

Is this a joke?

[–]zombiesatemylife -1 points0 points ago

Both are terrible, terrible choices.

[–]krokee64 1 point2 points ago

Didn't see the subreddit at first, thought this was in /r/WTF for a second. It would have fit.

[–]cashinc 0 points1 point ago

What tax free organization is distributing these? This would be a violation that could cost them their tax free status.

[–]SubtleMockery 0 points1 point ago

False dichotomy.

[–]agriff1 0 points1 point ago

At first I thought this was r/Circlejerk

[–]KIFulgore 0 points1 point ago

What. The. Actual. Fuck.

[–]Gelsamel 0 points1 point ago

What happens if I choose both?

[–]WizardCap 0 points1 point ago

Too late, I already accepted Batman.

Reading that bible quote, my brain inserted some words. I originally thought that it read:

And those who shall be found, without the should for getting down, must stand and face the hounds of hell, and rot inside a corpse's shell.

Didn't help the argument make any sense, though.

And when supper was ended, he took his ego and spread it amongst all his disciples and said "if you have a business, that, you didn't build that. Somebody else made that happen." The word of the lord. Praise to you lord Barack Obama, king of chicagoites.

Every time I think Americans have fallen as far as they can, we somehow always hit a new low

As a lifelong Christian I have to say that 99% of my fellow Christians would think this is insane as I do. Why do redditors insist on making it seem like the radical minority of any group makes up the whole?

Lets see, Barack Obama wants to see people receive medical treatment when sick, aid when poor, food when hungry, and help when old. Then, by making an offering to him (your vote). He actually goes around trying to make those things happen. ........Seems more effective than the Jesus route. That guy took off over 2000 years ago and we sit around like unwanted bastard children waiting for something to happen. "He said he'd be back.....yep, any day now"

Seems to me that if you choose option A, you are free to think whatever you want about Obama.
