When I make a post, I check to see if it's been posted already. If I can't find anything on it and click to post but it actually has been posted before, Reddit doesn't post it, and it just sends me to the link to where it was originally posted. I'm not trying to repost the stuff, I honestly couldn't find if it had been posted before, and if it was Reddit would let me know and not post mine.

So how it is that everyone else can repost stuff, but it sends me to the earlier link when I post something that's already been up before?
