He staring at that camera awful intently.

[–]Kiwilolo 34 points35 points ago

He's obviously worried someone is going to take his watermelon.

[–]K0TO 34 points35 points ago

Shouldn't it be Wolf wolfing down a watermelon

I'll see myself out now.

[–]Narroo 9 points10 points ago

I want to see this from the side. His lower jaw must be bent 90 degrees.

[–]luciousfan3012 1 point2 points ago

Or perhaps his teeth are really dug into it...!

[–]Narroo 1 point2 points ago

That would be one really squished watermelon.

This has been in 3 different subreddits today...

[–]ExaltedNecrosis 22 points23 points ago

And this is my first time seeing it. I'm glad OP posted it.

Feeding wolves and other wildlife of the sort is not cool.

[–]Kyoti 15 points16 points ago

I get the feeling someone didn't cart half a watermelon into the forest just to find a wolf, this was likely at a reserve and authorize by those who care for the animal.

[–]TheOtherSarah 1 point2 points ago

Or the wolf stole it.

[–]WeKnowNothing -1 points0 points ago

Possibly, but it would be just as easy to make the assumption that some idiot park-goers fed it to the wolf, or allowed it to be stolen by the wolf.

[–]Kyoti 0 points1 point ago

If a wolf is comfortable getting that close to humans, it's lived extensively with humans. Yes, there are jerks who would try to do something stupid just for a good picture but I don't think this is the case.
