Whoa close call! Somebody almost didn't post something with a religious word in it! As we all know, anything that contains any mention of religion in any capacity is automatically the domain of /r/atheism.

funny thing is that the food additive "gelatin" is almost always from a cow.

Not sure whether I'm more upset with the ignorance of the company's PR rep, the vindictive comment from the guy, the "Let's all boycott the ice-cream because one person that works for them is an idiot!", the unbelievable disregard for punctuation, grammar and spelling, or the fact that people listen to their religious institutions when they're telling them what they can or cannot eat.

Are we sure they have a PR rep? Did a little research & they seem to be a local business with 25 or fewer employees. There's every chance that the FB page is run by the owner's nephew's son for free, or some such. In which case there's probably some family trouble brewing in Montana.

Unless the company is run by Aryan Nation types, which seems unlikely as during my mini-research I found a company brag about Obama eating their ice cream.

I'm treating whoever wrote this as de facto PR rep, as they are the one doing the Relating to the Public. I find it unlikely that it's someone's dedicated job to run PR in a company that small, but referring to them as "PR Rep" works, especially if it turns out they do have one.

Fair enough.

Am I a bad person for thinking this is kind of funny?
