I hope this isn't the last bastion of r/WTF. This subreddit comes in waves. There will plenty of gore and weirdoes and "return to roots" posts and then people get desensitized. They start to get clever in how we define the content that is acceptable for WTF. We start seeing bad parking posts and power bill typos. Then there is a call to "return to WTF roots". The concern is that we will follow the same pattern but once removed. We get sick of the cycle and start reaching farther for WTF content that we have not seen and start posting things like this. We cannot do this. We all remember subreddits being shut down for pushing the line on child pornography. Let's not do this here.
