Why is this?

I am driving home and I am fine.

But the second I step in the door after I get home from a trip, from work, etc BAM! Especially after a long drive. The second I walk through the door I have to go to the bathroom REALLY bad.

I drove around the US for all of June and a portion of July. The trip was amazing but one of my favorite afterthoughts is that I pooped in so many different states. My poop is all over the United States. The grossest was probably after eating In-N-Out Burger in CA. It was great.

It took me roughly 36 hours or so to get back to the states from India, and I abhor public bathrooms for dropping a deuce. I really think that getting back to my apartment, walking in the door, and heading straight to my bathroom was the best feeling ever.

I hate riding in a car with someone else on a road trip. After I use the bathroom before I leave, I don't have an issue going 8 or 9 hours without stopping for a pee break.
