Oops I didn't see this when I posted a reply with the video. You didn't go to high school in Pittsburgh by chance, because one day I discovered this video during lunch and had physics immediately after. I wanted til everyone was there and was like 'you have to watch this'. So we did. All 15 minutes. Then we saw that a related video was someone beating Super Mario 64 in 10 minutes. So we watched that. After those videos were said and done, we had 15ish minutes left in class so we just hung out.

Came here to post this. I cringe when people say "Science!" when they have simply built something or even when they have just observed some natural object like a star or planet. Building a cool gadget with magnets or using your telescope is not science. The Mythbusters are repeat offenders here.

Awesome, do these contraptions even have a name or something? I remember once seeing one that went on for like 30 minutes as a kid. I am desperately looking for stuff like this but I don't know what they're called, the long tracks of mechanical stuff that keeps moving and turning and spiraling with all kinds of nice mechanical tricks... I hope someone can tell me this.
