I doesn't require any physical superiority over your opponent in order to win, wich Dallas proved last year over Miami! It is not ,,bunch of guys running behind bouncing orange"! Sport and competition is very important in society, it can be a way of staying healthy, it can motivate, it can prevent desises, it can help someones recovery... First of all, I don't really like Lebron because of his lack of heart, BUT he has a very high basketball IQ wich makes it impossible for him to be guarded even by much more physical players such as centers or power forwards that are twice his size... He can play from PG to PF no problem because he understands the game so well... Why didn't you mention Steve Nash? He was in his prime the best player in the NBA because he is Albert Einstein of basketball!

Who hates Bill Gates? I mean I've probably seen a few comments that were borderline trolling talking bad about Gates but I don't have much confidence they were legitimate opinions people were holding. I'm sure some people don't like Gates but that goes with just about everything. To me it seems like you're just creating a situation that doesn't really exist. I do believe Steve Jobs definitely gets more credit than he deserves (not necessarily referring to what I see on Reddit but in general), but also I think a lot of that is due to him having died at near the pinnacle of Apple's rise so I think over time it will fade some. Gates should get plenty of love and respect whenever his time comes.

I think a if it's there, it was residual hate from the late 90s/early 2000's. I remember cursing Bill Gates's name quite frequently growing up with Windows ME. There was also United States v. Microsoft back in 1998, which probably wasn't the best publicity.

Tl;Dr - Microsoft installed IE with every copy of windows, which the US Government claimed gave them an unfair advantage in the browser market and allowed them a monopoly. MS argued that IE was essential to the OS (As Explorer and IE shared a lot of resources) and that it could not be removed without breaking Windows as we know it. They settled and MS had to share its source code with the dept of justice for several years. MS also moved the IE Base away from explorer from vista onward, allowing it to be uninstalled. In other countries when you install windows, you have to choose what browser you want to install, this was due to a similar case in the EU.

how.... how does that even make any sense O_o? even if he everyone of todays "poor" standard died because they were not able to receive a vaccine for some sort of illness all that would happen would be the current rich people that aren't exactly billionaires, or even hundred-millionaires would become the poor people, then it the world or nation or whatever was "sterilized" would have so much inflation that a dollar today would be 10k tomorrow... so those people just don't make any sense O_O, all i can think is "hater's gonna hate and potato's gonna potate" when it comes to that.

I know it's pointless but in some small way it makes feel better getting down to their core beliefs and trying to make them look like the ignorant wretches they are.

There is one guy named "michael0156" who is a regular antivax nutjob on youtube. I have actually seen him convince several people that vaccines are poison and that they will give your children autism and other such nonsense. I hate that motherfucker and he follows me around on youtube constantly, lol. The anti-vaxers come in several flavors.

The religious (natural remedies, charcoal, herbs stuff like that). The detox crowd. The juicers. The conspiracy types.

Michael is a cross between the detox and religious.

I believe that's a bit of what i'll call the 90s stigma. Bill Gates ripping off/reproducing technological achievements at the time, while apple was releasing "original" ideas. Also Microsoft buying up and strong arming competition while Apple was playing little engine that could - selling their cute little iMacs to schools and churches.

But in the end, you're correct, Gates has done more good for this world than Jobs could ever have dreamed of.

Jobs was an asshole beforehand, but that was what made him brilliant. He was a stubborn asshole that had things made his way or no way, and that's why his products were so damn stylish and well-designed for a very long time.

His arrogance was part of his brilliance. Or at least I'd like to see it that way, seeing as I'm a rather arrogant developer myself. :(

Damn dude, it was a heavily reposted joke solely about how ridiculously rich he is. There is no comment about his character, or personality, and it in no way diminishes the good works he has done.

It actually seems like you're the one insinuating that rich people can't be good people, because there is nothing in this that pokes fun at anything other than the amount of money he makes. If it said "I'm going to save up for a Lamborghini, and spit on poor people" I would agree with you.
