It's like the dog from Van Wilder. On another note, I worked with pigs for over 2 years. They are fucking disgusting. I took care of about 90 piglets for a while and one night one of them died. I came in to find a blood orgy of cannibalism the next day. I have nightmares to this day.

I work with pigs and love it. It's relatively often that a pig will randomly die in nursery and I've never seen the others do anything to it. They'll maybe nudge at it a little or move it to the corner doing so but never tear into it like that. Then again, even though we usually live 300-400 pigs in nursery at a time, there's usually only 7-12 pigs per pen so I don't know what situation yours were in or what they would do in more crowded circumstances.

as much as this picture gets at my gag reflex, I just had a total moment of reddit triumph. and by that I mean, for once I'm happy I waste hours of my life on this site. a friend of mine texted me this picture earlier today and acted like they witnessed this pig shit on his own balls. I was skeptical and now I have proof. fuck yeah. also, this will be the only time I'm in a good mood after typing the phrase "shit on his own balls." hopefully.

This has been on reddit so many times. In answer of the usually question: Yes it's normal for pig balls to be this large. Also, most people who work with pigs actually enjoy it and working with this pig wouldn't necessarily make a day bad unless it was an asshole or something.

I saw some educational video on pigs where they were explaining the artificial insemination process. They found it was more successful if you gave the female a little foreplay first. Farmers had to sit on the females ass and dig their heels into the crease where leg meets abdomen. I don't know why I'm telling you this. Maybe it will help me forget.

This is true. And unlike cows where you basically inject the semen in, with pigs you have to let them basically use their muscles to suction it in and if you push on their backs and pull at their flanks like a boar would they usually take it up faster. We also usually have the boar in front of them already as part of the initial heat check to see if the sow can be breed.

Side note: if the sow weren't in heat, those farmers would have one hell of a ride/fall. We often sit on their backs to ensure that they are in heat, if they go completely still and their ears stick straight up she's ready to breed and not a thing is gonna make her move.
