They are downvoting because reddit hivemind likes to believe "anything regarding race = racism, any opinion involving race = racism". Its that sort of mentality. Also downvoting is the poor man's way of commenting.

Forgot about that, and its likely a factor. Sports games on xbox are primarily populated with (cliche) preteens and teens. Its especially bad for Madden. NCAA is a bit better, seems to garner more college aged players playing as their school.

Could also simply be the fact the PS2 sold retardedly well. I believe PS2 has outsold the entire current console generation and then some. As a result PS2 would have likely had more black purchases than xbox, and likely retained more of those customers on through the PS3.

I used to play Gears of War 1 back in the day quite a bit, and for those who have never played it, when you get shot instead of being killed you're downed. Which essentially means you crawl around helplessly bleeding out for 30 seconds or whatever, upon which you either die or stand up depending on the game mode. It was common practice for players to not only hump/gangbang the shit out of both ends of any opposing downed player (or teammate for good measure), but to plant smoke grenades in their asses and ritualistically dance around them until they died or had the displeasure of getting up and doing it all again. None of this was ever questioned.

Ever since I started playing Mobas (league of legends mostly), I find it cute how you are all thrown off by faggot.

I've been told to commit suicide I played a role so badly. Multiple times. In the same day. I had people say I would die alone, that I would never have children, and that I have downs syndrome because I'm just such a bad player. I've had people scream "RETARD" in all caps because I played a character/role they wanted to play and intentionally feed the entire game. I've had people call me a retard and intentionally feed because I planned to play what they deemed a bad strategy. People say I have downs syndrome on a regular basis.

Once while playing Black Ops on PC, I screwed up in a way that shifted momentum away from my team. As I began to type an apology into chat, I knocked an item of smoking apparatus off my desk. My left hand swiped the keyboard as I focused on the speedy recovery of my precious paraphernalia.

What was supposed to be "sorry for blowing that play at C" instead came out as "sorry fg8." An active admin decided not to boot me, but a few people really didn't seem to believe my follow-up apology for that bizarre typo. In hindsight though, I concede that the whole incident does still make me chuckle a little.
