Every time this gets posted, someone points out two things:

1) It's already been posted several times.

2) That's not what the bra shown in the picture was made for. It was made for low cut shirts or dresses. Which should, really, be obvious if you just look at it.

Yeah, man. I just discovered this type of bra recently. It's awesome and allows for ladies with big boobs to wear low-cut stuff that usually small boobed women wear. The post is also odd because all bras (particularly sports bras) limit bouncing and non-sports bras entirely eliminate nipple poking.

      Women with large breasts usually stay away from extra padding in the cup, for a few reasons what have you. This means a sheer fabric face that allows nipple erections to protrude thru the shirt.

      So, that's two for two on the "stare inappropriately at boobs" scale. Size draws you in, nipples lock you down.

      Not all bras limit nipple poking, but every woman should choose ones that do. As a woman, nobody is going to take you seriously if they can see your nips. Or if your boobs are bouncing and jiggling all over the place. It's weird. Keep the girls in check.... unless you're like .... at a meat market or something and you WANT people to see your nips and your jiggly bits.

      What about sports bras though? I've had to start wearing normal bras to the gym because of the nip thing, but my boobs jiggle more in the normal bra, it's a dilemma. I think nobody really notices the jiggling as much as the nips though.

      You're allowed to jiggle at the gym. I think you're supposed to jiggle when you work out. The fitness instructor told a class I was in that "we don't worry about anything jiggling in here."

        As someone with breasts who is involved in a very high impact sport, I have learned that this can be achieved by wearing three sports bras of descending size. It's not super comfortable, but it keeps the girls in line.

        Same size boat here, have found affordable sports bras that come in that size that make an amazing adjustable strapped bra that you can even change to be cross back or regular. Champion, I've found it at Academy Sports + Outdoors, JC Penney, and Sears. I think I found them for $25 at JCP. I have two and they are the only thing that I don't bounce around in while on the treadmill.

        For everyday bras, I usually shop Lane Bryant and Bravissmo. Both carry the odd sizes, and they don't even look like granny bras! They're actually very cute, and quite a few are extremely comfortable.

        I understand completely. I've looked just about everywhere for cute bras and any sports bra and the only place that even remotely has my size is Dilliards. They'll measure you (if you ask) and actually look through the shelves for your size and stay with you until you send them away or find the bra you like.

        Well, when I first started pushing myself in sports, I was completely clueless about sizes of sports bras and how they correlated. Through trial and error, I ended up with multiple bras of different sizes that didn't work very well on their own. One bra never seems to do the trick with sports bras.

        So on a whim, I decided to try wearing a couple of them at once. Playing around with their order each time I went to work out gave me my current configuration, which starts with an XL, then an L, then a M. It sucks them in perfectly, and gives them enough padding that it doesn't hurt as badly when I take a hit there. Which is often.

        An item of clothing cannot make my body into something it isn't. When I'm cold, my nipples get hard. That is a biological function, not due to the kind of fabric my bra is made out of. And no bra that restricts my breasts from moving up and down or keeps them from jiggling could possibly be comfortable. Breasts move around. It's part of their nature.

        Well I think the size of the breasts is a big factor in how effective this bra would be. As for the nipples, I don't think it was suggesting that the bra can keep your nipples from getting hard. I would assume it's some kind of fabric that is just better at hiding the fact. Either way, to say it's impossible is a little closed minded.

        (I love my boobs. ANY bra [including those built-in ones that camisoles have] is supportive enough, I can wear low-cut tops without ever having to worry if I'm showing too much cleavage, and I can go bra-less if I need to and they're so damn perky.)

            Thank you. I'm a woman with.... god, I'm nervous to even discuss my body on reddit... but I have big boobs and big nipples. And in the winter, I actually have to choose shirts I'm wearing or add scarves to outfits to cover up my nipples showing through my shirt. I hate wearing thickly-padded bras, because I have enough people ogling my chest as it is. I can brush it off with guy friends, but sometimes professors, workers, people I don't know are staring... and it really does make me uncomfortable.

            I would love a bra that stopped them from bouncing as well, I actually get back pain and sore boobs after a run because they'll jiggle even with a bra, sports bra, and sports tank for support.

            A bra like this would really help girls with big chests like myself to get through our day more comfortably, so it's really nice to hear from a guy like you who wouldn't be bothered by me keeping my boobs to myself. Thanks for being nice.

                  Around the word "America" is really where the comment started to go wrong. We are certainly far from the only, or most sexualized culture to exist/have existed on this planet. The way you phrased it just screams ignorance... Go look at some Greco-Roman art and get back to me on that. Additionally, sex is one of biological lifes most basic urges. It shouldn't be surprising, whatsoever, that it comes up as often as it does and the connotations with the human body will likely never stop - in any culture.

                        Guy answering. Yes, most men do enjoy this. It has to do with the fact that pretty much any other part of the breast can be shown pretty much anywhere. Nipples are the only thing actually socially forbidden and therefor seeing them in public in any way is sexually invigorating. I agree though. Men staring at shirts hoping to see nipples poking are creepy. They give the rest of us men a bad name.

I mean, If a girl's nipples are poking out, I will usually notice them, and maybe for like a split second I will be like "oh that's nice I guess" but it doesn't turn me on or anything.                           The girl in the picture has a very small chest, somewhere in the vicinity of an A-cup. Her breasts wouldn't bounce or jiggle no matter what. Picture a much larger chest (DDD cup of larger) and it becomes clear that the design works only for small-chested women.

                          i find it hard to keep DDD's from jiggling/bouncing.. i have only recently figured out that you CAN still buy bra's in store that actually fit, but it's not an easy task to find them.. and victoria's secret doesn't even carry any that big :(
