Wait! Sell it on eBay and instead buy the second series that came out. The top loader series. They're better in every way and you should be able to get one for cheap.

You know, besides the RF output, reduced picture and sound quality, and blurry lines down the screen.

Although, they do have toploading, so now more blowing on cartridges. And if you AV mod it (or get one of the hyper rare AV models that Nintendo made for people complaining about RF output), then the blurred lines and reduced quality are fixed.

Saying that though, this is the only NES toploader for me.

It works fine if you don't care about blurry, distracting lines or reduced image and sound quality. The only problem the original had was the cartridge connector being crap, but those can be easily replaced.

Also, I'd actually love a NES-101, but due to the console being US only, and the fact that even if I were to import one, it wouldn't work because RF signals are region locked, I can't play it in the UK.

But still, nintoaster.

The only true never played is something still in original cellophane, and/or any applicable stickers sealing the box (like ones ToysRus might slap on). If it's not, it can never faithfully be sold as never played, and should always be assumed to at the very least been opened and handled.

Picture isn't sealed. There is proof in the fucking album that everything has been touched at least once. Do you know how easy it is to have the original plastic and throw it all back together after played once or twice, or ten times, or one hundred.

edit: obviously it's in mint condition, but making the claim of unplayed/unopened (which is what drives those high prices) is false.

This is a standard Mint, Boxed NES set, and isn't even one of the rarer production boxes.

The plastic on the upper shell is made from a plastic that turns yellow-ish after a few years, or decades. Mine comes a non-smoking home too.

Affected some SNESes also.

I actually found the Earthbound box sealed (with the scratch and sniff guide!) at a Zellers when I was a teenager. This was long after SNES had left store shelves, when you could barely even find used SNES games around. It was still priced at $80 and after much convincing about the rarity, my mom got it for me.
