Yeah the feeling sucks but look at this way: Singleness is a time to grow as a person, an individual, a time of self-discovery. Which in turn, will allow you to make better relationship choices in the future. If your ex is getting new partners quickly, well... just shows they aren't an independent person and can't handle being alone and will probably continue to make the same stupid mistakes over and over. ;)

[–]look_under_here 6 points7 points ago

Thats good advice I will definitely keep that in mind when Iam meeting new people at bars

[–]dontcallmyname 3 points4 points ago

Reading this makes me feel better! Thank you bluebird518 :)

[–]creatingapathy 0 points1 point ago

I want to believe.

[–]jessesomething 0 points1 point ago

Hello there, great unexpected relationship advice!

[–]lschmidt814 135 points136 points ago

As someone who just got out of a two year relationship and my ex was dating someone else 6 days later, I can confirm this.

[–]Neverendtillbegin 32 points33 points ago

I know that feel bro. Dated ex for 3 and half years. Found out 6 months before our break up that she was texting this guy, we got in a big fight assured me it was absolutely nothing. Week later after she told me this relationship was too hard for her and she just needed be single and free... she starts dating him. But fast forward 7 months she now writes me 2 page messages begging to be part of my life. I feel like a fucking champ and always reply with the same thing "LOL"

[–]Zerothe0 11 points12 points ago

bro \o

[–]imkidcable 10 points11 points ago

Bro! o/

[–]B-arry 3 points4 points ago

Just filling this void! o/\o/\o

[–]gamerx2132 3 points4 points ago

Are you me?

[–]Mothdrop 3 points4 points ago

Exact same thing happened to someone I know! Those assholes need a kick in the bollocks, regardless of whether or not they have bollocks.

[–]bizarro_barbie 1 point2 points ago

I always write "aww" when i get those texts from the exes.

[–]amayernican 148 points149 points ago

She probably started that relationship before you broke up.

[–]MeatIsMeaty 52 points53 points ago

This is the sad truth. Maybe it wasn't a relationship per se, but they probably both knew that they wanted each other.

[–]dialupmoron 42 points43 points ago

I was in a relationship for about a year and a half. After the breakup they were with someone else within a week.

I was mad at first, and obviously quite sad, but then I realized our relationship had ended long before the official breakup. I wasn't a good partner and was absolutely blind to this fact. We were simply wrong for each other. I hypothesize this may be the case for many relationships that end like this.

[–]Azael_the_Tiefling 2 points3 points ago

As someone who dated too soon after being dumped after 2 years I can confirm this. I just want everyone to be happy but she still feels like she owns me.

[–]Stoli 2 points3 points ago

Being on the other end of this, it's nice to see this posted.

I started dating arguably too soon after my previous relationship officially ended, but the breakup process started several months back. I had severed emotional ties long before, and when a new opportunity presented itself I felt ready to begin a new relationship even though it was shortly after the official breakup.

[–]snickles19 1 point2 points ago

She finally had the chance.

[–]MeatIsMeaty 6 points7 points ago

They finally had the chance.

FTFY

Let's keep the misogyny to a minimum.

[–]faurette 3 points4 points ago

It's not really misogyny. He probably would've said "He finally had the chance" if we're talking about a guy who cheated.

[–]snickles19 2 points3 points ago

Yes I'm sorry, her and the new boyfriend had a chance*

[–]SparkitusRex 9 points10 points ago

My ex and I had been together for a year. He was a complete douchebag who emotionally abused me and neglected me, and expected me to sit around and wait for him to want me. He didn't want me sexually or emotionally, he just wanted me as a trophy. It took me a year to figure this out.

I dumped him and one week later I found a guy who wanted me physically, emotionally, mentally, and every way you could possibly imagine. He swept me off my feet and we've been together for five and a half years since.

Sometimes the girl isn't the scumbag, sometimes you just find someone better suited when you don't have the looming "I'm taken" over your head.

Not to say lschmidt814 is a scumbag or anything, because I'm sure he's a perfect gentleman, but don't immediately blame the dame.

[–]Stoli 0 points1 point ago

Well put, SparkitusRex. I know that feel.

[–]Sir_Beret 4 points5 points ago

I'm honestly appalled at how unfaithful my brain is.

[–]TeamOnMyBackDoe 0 points1 point ago

Not always true, I'm gonna be that asshole that started dating a girl 4 days after a breakup and it wasn't started before my ex and I broke up. It just happened somehow.

Also, she broke up with me and I wasn't prepared so it wasn't like I wasn't heartbroken

[–]ItsOppositeDayHere 17 points18 points ago

Hey, are you me from 3 years ago? I dated my first love for 2 years in college and, after we broke up, she got into a relationship with a dude who lived two doors down from me less than a week later. This past summer she just got married to that same guy, actually! They look really happy and, and I'm being honest here, I'm genuinely happy for them. Hard to hold a grudge towards an ex when the person they (maybe) left you for is quite possibly the love of their life.

Live and let live, brother.

[–]imkidcable 1 point2 points ago

Not sure if genuine advice....or opposite.

[–]bizarro_barbie 0 points1 point ago

Yup, thats how I feel in the end. I realize I was pushing them away and never really would have been happy anyways, regardless of whether I am rationalizing my end point of view tends to be "better them than me, hope they are happy."

[–]Add4164 16 points17 points ago

2 years of relationship, she was dating 1 week later

[–]slothzen 16 points17 points ago

To me, this smacks of the type of person who has to be with someone. When my 5 year relationship ended I carved a cubby of despair and huddled in darkness for a month. Then I celebrated my freedom with reckless abandon, and it felt awesome. That's how it's done.

[–]offwiththepants 2 points3 points ago

Some relationships die a slow death. It's not like all relationships are awesome all the way up to the end. My last relationship died a slow death... he started nitpicking everything about me, was negative, and always had some sort of issue. I broke up with him and then called up a friend for booty call and immediately started dating other guys. I didn't want a relationship mind you.... I had just gotten out of one. I just wanted to have fun.

Sorry to break it to you, but this is how the real world works. I once had fantasies about finding true love when I was a teenager or in my early 20's... but that is hard to find, it's quite rare.

[–]Stembio 1 point2 points ago

My roommate's relationship with his fiancee just ended. Ah, how well I know the cubby of despair. I consider it a successful day if I get him to eat at least 500 calories.

[–]musenji 0 points1 point ago

When you said "That's how it's done" I thought of Rocky in the last movie:

"You, me, or nobody is gonna hit as hard as life. But it ain’t about how hard you hit. It’s about how hard you can get hit and keep moving forward. How much you can take and keep moving forward. That’s how winning is done!"

[–]madamimadamimadam 5 points6 points ago

As someone who got out of a three year relationship and my ex was dating someone two weeks before we broke up, I'm still a resentful, cynical bastard.

[–]bizarro_barbie 0 points1 point ago

You and most guys I encounter man. I am in a city of heart broken guys who stomp on 3 hearts to justify having one broken. I spot that pining, lingering, "woes me" shit a mile away.

[–]jp2323 2 points3 points ago

Damn, I was in the exact same situation, but then i figured out she started the relationship before ours ended, and the new guy is closeted, so she left me for someone who doesn't even like her, but uses her as a beard...whatever, she was a bitch anyways

[–]bluthru 4 points5 points ago

Girls are like monkeys: They don't let go of one branch without grasping onto the next.

(Is this a generalization? Yep. However, is it more common amongst girls than guys? Yep.)

[–]ElevenReds 32 points33 points ago

doesnt have the same effect when she starts dating someone else the same week

[–]asshold 38 points39 points ago

Or if she starts dating someone before you break up.

FML.

[–]amayernican 16 points17 points ago

I know that feel.

[–]tehkyle5k 4 points5 points ago

Or when your wife has a boyfriend before you're divorced. Feels all around.

[–]BPenguinfire 4 points5 points ago

Happened to me this fucking week. This whole thread is making me angry and sad.

[–]iTimmeh 2 points3 points ago

My ex is like that. She'd go from guy to guy within a few days of break up. Odd part is it, wasn't a boyfriend of a few weeks, but usually years. She'd rid of emotion easy.

[–]Stembio 8 points9 points ago

I have a friend who does this. What happens is that she stays in the relationship long after she no longer likes the dude, and won't break up with him until she has a new relationship all lined up. She doesn't cheat... physically. But she lays all the necessary groundwork to assure that she won't ever be actually single.

Did I mention that she is a diagnosed sociopath? I always want to shake the dudes, yelling "YOU ARE NOTHING TO HER BUT CASUAL AMUSEMENT! GET OUT BEFORE SHE EATS YOUR SOUL!"

[–]meiam001 5 points6 points ago

I call girls like that monkeys because they have to have a hold of one branch before they let go of the last.

[–]iTimmeh 4 points5 points ago

That describes my ex. She had a "friend", who she totally didn't like "that way." Lo and behold we break up and she dates him.

[–]luvcheez 316 points317 points ago

Dude, I still feel that way even after I'm already dating someone. Exes need to stay single forever, from now on. sorry.

[–]schuhshine 124 points125 points ago

I had my ex start a relationship with a friend of mine, thats pain right there.

[–]andrewdance 119 points120 points ago

My ex started a relationship with a close friend, before she ended our relationship. Right in the feels.

[–]PoorMinorities 50 points51 points ago

My ex started a relationship while hiding the fact that she was talking to one of my friends in our circle. This caused me to lose her and all of my friends instantly. That feel...

[–]schuhshine 26 points27 points ago

that feel bro... like your the bad guy :-/

[–]mudkipikachu 15 points16 points ago

what about my the bad guy?

[–]luckycypher 2 points3 points ago

gotta embrace that shit. muuahahahMUAHAHUAHAHMUAHAHUAHAHMUAHAHUAHAHMUAHAHUAHAH

[–]Lordodirections 4 points5 points ago

Are you me? :(

[–]Jorgemeister 23 points24 points ago

My ex started a relationship while hidding another relationship about maintaining a secret relationship with a guy who was secretly engaged to a married lady who was I marry to. right in the nuts.

[–]Pak-O 17 points18 points ago

Oh no, I've gone cross eyed.

[–]Scorched_Herb_Tactic 4 points5 points ago

Cigar and a waffle?

[–]mastr_slik 3 points4 points ago

Pipe and a crepe?

[–]Nannooskeeska 4 points5 points ago

Smoke and a pancake?

[–]AAlexanderK 2 points3 points ago

Bong and a blintz?

[–]sayITwitYOchest 24 points25 points ago

wat.

[–]Pogotross 3 points4 points ago

So your ex was dating two dudes: One you didn't (necessarily) have any other connection to, and one you did have a connection to. That connection being he was secretly engaged to a married lady, who I assume was your wife (if "was I marry to" means "who I was married to" not "who was married, too.")

Basically (assuming hetrosexuality):
Ex has two dudes, Tom and Dick.
Tom has (at least) ex.
Dick has Ex and Wife.
Wife has Dick and Jorgemeister.
Jorgemeister has wife and need of lawyer.

[–]brendanp8 0 points1 point ago

WHAT DID I JUST READ?

[–]hyattisqueen 1 point2 points ago

Cheatception.

[–]Omegaman2010 3 points4 points ago

My ex of 2 years started a relationship with my roommate after a week of knowing him, leaving me to do so. Not as bad as yinz's stories but still hurts my feels

[–]LD5ifty 1 point2 points ago

be's on the outside, feels on the inside

[–]Free-Bird 1 point2 points ago

My ex started a relationship with my step brother. We dated about 2 months, note I'm still a virgin... They dated for 2 days before they started having loud sex in the room next to mine. Which was about 5 days after we broke up.

[–]Epoh 1 point2 points ago

Fuck am I ever sorry, mine still hung around and ridiculed me for a few embarrassing sexual moments with the ex, apparently she told everyone, somewhat glad I still have the friends though.

[–]breathofspace 0 points1 point ago

My ex met, got into a relationship with, and moved in with a lady all within two weeks of us ending a 3 year relationship. Oh and the lady was still married, she hadn't even gotten divorced yet.

[–]Caveman788 9 points10 points ago

My ex is my hand. I've seen Jill shaking other peoples hands :[

[–]-MM- 9 points10 points ago

I sadly know how you two feel. At that point there's nothing left to do but say "Ah, fuck it" and fire up your helium jet engines, and ascend to a higher level of zen and self-improvement, focus on being the best you can be, and wearing two pairs of sunglasses at all times.

[–]morning_would 2 points3 points ago

Best advice ever. I need to hear stuff like this sometimes.

[–]Jespy 8 points9 points ago

=[ Bro hug. I have been a victim as well. My ex started a relationship with my best friend. She used to hate him and said he was a "bad influence" and well..Ya know the rest. It's been over a year and although I'm in a happy and better relationship now it still sucks to think about it man....Man...The feels.. We gotsa stick together.

[–]andrewdance 4 points5 points ago

Dude, it's been 7 years for me and I still get down thinking about it. Life changer man.

[–]Babkock 3 points4 points ago

Sorry to hear that, bro.

[–]jp2323 4 points5 points ago

My ex started a relationship with a guy who turned out gay while we were still in a relationship, ended up taking most of my friends with her, and took my gameboy andgameboy games that i've had since i was 3; and coca cola pants. That was the most precise hit on the feels I have ever felt

[–]Hameed67 3 points4 points ago

Some close friend.

[–]memo_rx 1 point2 points ago

same here bro. She was a slut...

[–]Hrodrik 1 point2 points ago

We call that cheating.

[–]adlauren 0 points1 point ago

Feelin your feels bro.

[–]Shaboubalah 6 points7 points ago

One of my ex best friends started a relationship with her ex's roommate/best friend, they had a kid within a year, and were married in two. This was AFTER she fucked said new husbands brother...awkward family reunions are to ensue.

[–]Maxables 1 point2 points ago

I, too, know that feel.

[–]Bucket_head 0 points1 point ago

I had that happen so I knocked out my 'friend' for putting ho's before bro's

EDIT; woops

[–]Elkers 2 points3 points ago

Of course you did buddy!

[–]SuminderJi 42 points43 points ago

Mines married and is trying to have a kid.

...while I haven't dated since.

feelsbadman.jpg

[–]Bucket_head 5 points6 points ago

I'v a horrible feeling that's the way my breakup 2 years ago is going..

[–]SuminderJi 5 points6 points ago

Yea man it sucks. When I found out that she is trying to have a kid, I just felt sick to my stomach. Still wake up feeling ill about it. Its scary not knowing when time will heal this wound... even if its gotten to this extreme extent.

Bro hug.

[–]Ghondar 10 points11 points ago

4 years dating, she left me, blocked me from everywhere (facebook, etc), had to delete my twitter account (very tempted to check her twitter) and she started dating someone else (some asshole she knew) the next week.

She still sends me emails and text from time to time. I don't answer them, but... damn, I'm tempted.

[–]look_under_here 2 points3 points ago

Iam sorry to hear that me & my ex broke up last week we also hsd 4 yrs together but we haven't texted or called each other we both kind of knew we had an expiration date already...

[–]sniffingcandy 1 point2 points ago

My girlfriend came home one day in January with a new car her ex gave her. She had vanished that day so I broke up with her. She married another guy in July. That Bitch was a player, but it's okay cause....... I DID IT ALL FOR THE NOOKIE, THE NOOKIE, SO YOU CAN TAKE THAT COOKIE AND SHOVE IT UP YOUR YEAH! Still single, no nookie or any prospects of nookie.

[–]ScreamingEnglishman 1 point2 points ago

Hooray for shouting biscuit

[–]Tashre 11 points12 points ago

But... you are the ex!

[–]Gank_Spank_Sploog 6 points7 points ago

I had an ex start dating my older brother. They dated for 4 years...

[–]Rob1150 3 points4 points ago

That sounds like a violation of the Bro Code. You never mess with your brother's ex.

[–]derka_derka_dueces 2 points3 points ago

But you are also an ex so by your logic you should also stay single forever and the only people allowed to be in a relationship are the people who found true love the first time.

[–]flinxsl 3 points4 points ago

It is not enough that I succeed. Others must fail.

[–]Fraymond 27 points28 points ago

The more relationships you rush into, the easier it is to get out and start the cycle again!

[–]TheSplines 3 points4 points ago

My regret is that I have but one upvote to give.

[–]averybadfriend 42 points43 points ago

As a resentful dumpee, I can confirm this.

[–]speechiegrl 5 points6 points ago

Second that..

[–]ArchZodiac 10 points11 points ago

HEY EVERYBODY YOU KNOW WHAT TIME IT IS?

IT'S TIME TO PITY PARTAYYYYY!

[–]mortarpadowan 24 points25 points ago

When you're still single and she's moving in with her boyfriend:

http://i.imgur.com/iy3ut.jpg

[–]Bodilis 1 point2 points ago

This is me right now. Fuck.

[–]mortarpadowan 1 point2 points ago

Me too buddy, me too. Dude she moved in with is in fact, the same guy she cheated on me with. Fun times!

[–]Bodilis 1 point2 points ago

I haven't confirmed that she was cheating with this guy when we were still together, but she was definitely cheating with someone so I guess it doesn't really matter.

God dammit relationships can suck ass sometimes.

[–]ChefBoyarDEZZNUTZZ 1 point2 points ago

Bro, that feel, i know it.

[–]daznificent 13 points14 points ago

Mine just had a baby with the girlfriend he had after me (as in there have been multiple). Did the math, she conceived around the same week we last had sex. :(

[–]imkidcable 16 points17 points ago

Why are you letting that get you down now? The poor bastard is stuck with a poop-machine and won't get laid until the kid leaves the house at 18. You're the winner in this scenario.

[–]daznificent 13 points14 points ago

Because feelings are irrational. I'm glad I don't have a baby, but it still hurts because he couldn't even wait a week.

[–]MaliciousMirth 0 points1 point ago

HAHA! Touche` and well said! :D

[–]RileyD 11 points12 points ago

It's even worse when they start a new relationship right after you guys break up with a guy she always 'disliked'.

[–]MeatIsMeaty 3 points4 points ago

"He's like a brother to me!"

[–]RileyD 1 point2 points ago

More like "He's creeping me out, tell him to stop bothering me."

[–]slothzen 9 points10 points ago

My ex 'transitioned' into a new relationship while we were still together.

[–]adharma[S] 8 points9 points ago

I know that feel.

[–]leefvc 0 points1 point ago

Happened to me twice, but it's fun to turn them down when they come back to you right after they realize they made a big mistake. Chin-up, bro.

[–]dmo90 0 points1 point ago

What's that saying? A monkey won't swing until it has a firm grip on the next branch? Fuck I prolly messed it up. Something like that tho

[–]phattu 8 points9 points ago

haha my Ex ;_;

[–]ChickenShoes 15 points16 points ago

[–]aoeu00 7 points8 points ago

And everyone else around you is clapping about it

[–]carouselderby 6 points7 points ago

If it makes you feel better, it's only a rebound. At least, that's what you can tell yourself.

[–]adharma[S] 6 points7 points ago

She's now in a relationship with the guy that ruined ours. Yay. <,<

[–]carouselderby 17 points18 points ago

Well, he's dumb and stupid anyway. You know who's awesome? You are! And cut off all communication if you haven't already (block both on Facebook, delete her number, etc.). Out of sight isn't necessarily out of mind, but will definitely help.

Did I mention that you're awesome?

[–]adharma[S] 9 points10 points ago

You. I like you.

[–]kdpha 11 points12 points ago

That's the rebound talking.

[–]Filthybiped 4 points5 points ago

carouselderby is right. It will definitely help. Also, adharma, this is a good time to get more active. Get out and do things. Keep your mind busy with projects and shit you've kept on the back-burner. Keeping yourself busy is the best remedy for a bad break-up.

Bonus: Getting more fit/getting cool stuff done is awesome non-harmful revenge while being positive for yourself!

[–]adharma[S] 3 points4 points ago

Hit the gym, delete facebook, acquire lawyer. Gottit. Minus the lawyer.

[–]Filthybiped 1 point2 points ago

I completely forgot about that one but it is pretty spot on! I hope the lawyer bit is unnecessary in your case though! Best of luck to you!

[–]xo_ 2 points3 points ago

Let me translate this whole thread from redditor for you guys: PAY ATTENTION TO ME

[–]sir_fappington 1 point2 points ago

But he also can tell himself about all the dickings the rebound is giving her. feelsbadman.jpg

[–]carouselderby 2 points3 points ago

I bet they are totally lame dickings that are totally lame and not worth feeling bad about.

[–]Random_Fandom 5 points6 points ago

I've chuckled before at that gif, but this is the only time it gave me a hearty laugh. :D
For me, your scenario feels a lot more like this: http://i.imgur.com/wBH8a.gif

/r/reactiongifs

Edit: source of this gif?

[–]YoItsMikeL 4 points5 points ago

What's funny is this JUST happened to me yesterday... but it's actually not that funny =/

[–]dontcallmyname 2 points3 points ago

Yo, MikeL! I know exactly how you feel, and it's not funny at all. But it will get better. Just be strong and cut her out of your life. This will probably be tough to do because you guys used to be really close and talk to each other everyday. But things changed and now you are in a completely different situation with her. You no longer have that same bond that you used to when you were together. Savor it for what it was and leave it as is, untouched. You will always have the good memories and nobody can take those away from you.

[–]Zalkareos 4 points5 points ago

Ex was dating someone 2 weeks later. I can confirm that this indeed sucks

[–]fr3ddie 3 points4 points ago

When you're an 11 year old girl at a wrestling event.

[–]ucstruct 4 points5 points ago

As a side note, kids at WWE events are hilarious. They take what happens, and the crowds reaction to it, personally.

[–]jsn0x 3 points4 points ago

I hate to be a dick, but I'm (hopefully) about to be that ex! I just met someone who shares so much in common with me it's almost scary. There is some chemistry there too. Hoping for the best here.

Back to the ex- fucking bitch cheated on me damn near 5 months ago. She was a master of emotional warfare... Even though I was the most depressed and unhappy I'd been in my entire life for the last 6 months of our relationshit (we had been together for 6+ years), I was failing school, AND losing my friends over her I still stayed with her. Hell, I was even depressed for 3 months after we broke up. The bitch ruined me for the most part of a year. Fucking first loves. I learned many life lessons though, and I'm a better person now because of her, but she can still rot in hell.

[–]Apostolate 25 points26 points ago

[–]Regemony 4 points5 points ago

This thread isn't meant for you.

[–]buttsexjones 9 points10 points ago

my thoughts exactly. LEAVE ME ALONE you crazy mofo, I broke up with you for a reason.

[–]whileyouwereliving 5 points6 points ago

Well, of course she does. She's a pretty (yet totally insane) girl, I'm a big, hairy slightly cynical dude. I can be happy if I ever have a relationship again.

no, I'm not fat

[–]KyroDCK 2 points3 points ago

That's how I felt when she started dating someone before me while she was dating someone else.

[–]la_guiri 2 points3 points ago

i would imagine (can't speak for experience) that it wouldn't be as difficult to see your ex date someone else if you were the one who did the dumping.

[–]Whitemane 4 points5 points ago

Speaking from personal experience it really depends on the context of the breakup and less on whom broke up with whom.

[–]dmo90 3 points4 points ago

Happened this morning. fFUk

[–]MrComply 3 points4 points ago

That's when I just remind myself that the Ex's new boyfriend get's to deal with the fact that she is a psychotic bitch.

[–]10587comefindme 2 points3 points ago

Hookers. solves everything.

[–]xGrimmisx 4 points5 points ago

[–]squirley2005 1 point2 points ago

Literally happened to me today. I didn't go to a wrestling match though :/

[–]Uni_Boober 1 point2 points ago

Haha as i stand here and the ex brings his new troll to the firehouse. Yes I'm bitter and yelling "Troll..... There's a troll in the dungeon!!"

[–]imkidcable 2 points3 points ago

Just wait till she gets an attack of opportunity on you and rolls a crit, lets see how your high charisma score saves you than.

[–]Uni_Boober 1 point2 points ago

Aaaaaand sadly i don't know what that means lol but it kind of sounds like you might think I'm being a dick? Yes, yes i am.

[–]apullin 0 points1 point ago

This hasn't been a problem for me. (for the sad reason, not the good reason)

[–]dbossnirvana 2 points3 points ago

In my case I was smiling supportively on the outside but that little girl on the inside, level 1000

Ah, living in competition. The key to happiness.

My good sir, your mission is to do what it takes to win the breakup.

When your ex starts a new relationship before you, but lowered their standards for a rebound...

[–]tailwalkerstalker 2 points3 points ago

dude, my ex has had 3 different boyfriends since me and we were engaged. btw we have only been separated for 2 years. ive come to learn she has some serious relationship/confidence issues

[–]lolagabriella 1 point2 points ago

3 days after. With my supposed friend. Was not best pleased.

[–]RichieLitt 2 points3 points ago

Girls typically have things set up when they break up with you (monkey branching)

Even worse, that was my face when she started dating my best friend.

... when my ex has had a relationship since... :'(

[–]manark 0 points1 point ago

I just made this face earlier

[–]sheerheartattack 1 point2 points ago

What's worse, if you're a heterosexual male, is that your ex-partner's next relationship is a matter of whenever she wants one, whereas your next relationship is a matter of whenever you can get one.

Personally, It was really good for me to hear that my ex had entered a new relationship. I have been having a really hard time getting over her and it helped me move on some more.

Sucks, but it's for the best.

[–]Lordsputnick 0 points1 point ago

Looks like my Ex when I was trying to "please" her.

[–]EvilPenguin69 0 points1 point ago

I just ended my 2 year relationship. She hasn't started dating anyone yet but I still feel like shit and going through guilt for ending it.

My dog is my best friend right now who is helping me cope.

I JUST got out of a 9 month relationship today and the first post I see on Reddit today is this. This place hits way to close to home sometimes, whoa!

[–]freakshoww 0 points1 point ago

That's why I fucked her best friend. Revenge never tasted so much like fish. The most satisfying shitty sexual experience I've ever had.

[–]Epoh 0 points1 point ago

I don't remember everyone else cheering for her, but it certainly fuckin felt that way.

[–]buuuutttttsss 0 points1 point ago

I'm glad my ex found someone she is compatible with and I hope they have a long happy life together.

[–]nohedge 0 points1 point ago

mmbop!

[–]akecke1 0 points1 point ago

Damn. Right in the feels.

[–]dayyim 0 points1 point ago

Feels confirmed. Happened to me today.

[–]Melorix 0 points1 point ago

Hey, this applies to me today. Was in a relationship for 2.5 years, we broke up about four months ago. Today on Facebook, I find out he's in a relationship. I wish I had a car so I could go to the BevMo. >.<

[–]mkicon 0 points1 point ago

I wish my ex would start a new relationship.

Instead she seems to be focused on me still, and it's getting old.

[–]billybaldwinme 0 points1 point ago

Feelings of men....They have them.

[–]oshyare 1 point2 points ago

This feels bad, bro.

Saw my ex with her new dude.

They have a dog together.

feels bad.

[–]MyLittleButtercup 0 points1 point ago

I was the ex, but HE broke up with me. When he found out I was getting married, he tried to get me to have a last "hurrah" sex with him for old times' sake. I told him good bye and to have a nice life. He responded by insulting me and my soon-to-be husband. I definitely got the last laugh.

[–]dmo90 0 points1 point ago

Yo it sucks but at least you get confirmation that there's no chance of you guys getting back together! Huge weight off my shoulders not having to hope for that. Then you can just delete them from FB and your phone and shit and eventually you'll move on and have to think about them all the time.
