Last night, the most amazing thing happened to me. There I was, sitting in a room, no one on the dance floor, when I hear a familiar melody. "Whup, whup whup... gangnam style!" I watched incredulously as no one danced, people not yet socially lubricated enough to at least attempt to work it on the dance floor. This was my shot, my one opportunity, I could not miss my chance to blow...

I walked to the middle of the dance floor. Stood there, the only person, straight out of an 80's movie... and waited for that perfect moment. Then bam, gangnam style dance. The arms, the hopping... the rodeo twirl. The leg scoot towards sexy ladies.

Before I knew it I was paparazzi'd, other the photographers just waiting for a moment like this to happen and the radio DJ going, "Oh, look at her!" The cheers, the applause, the pointing and laughing...! Then the song ended. My moment of glory because I can giddy-up like I'm riding a horse. It's every midwest girls dream. We all get one.

I lived in Texas during the Achy Breaky Heart ridiculousness, from what I heard they still overplay that song. I literally had to move out of the state to stop hearing that song every time you passed by something/anything capable of making sound. If you're 23, and you've been actively trying to get a date since you were, what, maybe fifteen or so... And you've been met with total failure even with your absolute best effort, it ain't about your 'skills with girls' anymore. It's a pure, basic, inherent problem with yourself as a whole. Are you only targeting girls who are out of your league? Do you not keep up your physical appearance? Are you overly aggressive or overly timid? Locate the central underlying problem and root it out. You'll have at least some measure of success for it.
