Beware of trading scammers!

A subreddit for anything related to games (but not sports).

"Related" means that posts must contain gaming-related content in the link/post body, not just a "forced" connection via the title or a caption added to the content.

Posting Rules

  • Posts must be directly gaming-related. Thus, "generic" image macros/memes (where the character itself is not related to gaming) like Scumbag Steve, Good Guy Greg, etc. will be removed. Something that "reminds you of a game", or "looks like something from a game" is also not an appropriate submission; similarly, reaction GIFs are also not appropriate as submissions.

  • Following Reddiquette is encouraged

  • No "general" URL shorteners (bitly, tinyurl, etc). Single-site URL shorteners (such as youtu.be or fav.me) are allowed.

it cost atleast $30 to buy a used copy of the Xbox version, wonder how much N64 one is going for.

Just took a quick look on Video Game Price Charts and it's averaging 60-70 dollars used. Apparently it can get upwards of 150 dollars new.

Makes me wonder if I can actually find a copy at some thrift/second hand store, or a flea market, or a pawn shop. My sister found a copy of Earthbound for 4 dollars at a pawn shop here in town. I was pretty jelly.

I think that in the near future were going to see updates/remakes start for all old games. Black mesa, Abes odyssey. I think it will only continue.

The XBOX version also was more censored than the original N64 game. More bleeps, which surprised me (especially since it was called Uncut)

Sadly they did release a remake, it was just for the xbox. This sucked as a guy that had the ps2 and gamecube. I never got to play the updated version of one of my favourite N64 games. Same BS for the latest Banjoe Kazooie game(which apparently sucked anyways) that was released on the 360 when I have a PS3/Wii.

The xbox remake was terrible. The campaign was taken straight from the n64 game without any changes. Then they went ahead and destroyed the multiplayer.

I agree, I had no problems with that. The campaign is awesome how it is. Just updating the graphics would be cool. The xbox versions multiplayer had updated graphics, but they didn't do the same for the campaign. Mind you the new multiplayer they made was so bad. All they had to do was take the n64 multiplayer a leave it as it was, perfect.

I liked the multiplayer on the Xbox, but the N64 was much more fun and original. It would've been cool if they included both.

But the graphics were a huge step up from the N64 version.. Back then anyway. It's just like LoZ: OoT N64 to 3DS, everything is smoother and there's finer detail.

The problem with the multiplayer in Reloaded was how unbalanced it was, but it was still fun. Though I wish they included all the gamemodes/weapons from the original.
