Heh. Gotta love the Katyusha technical!

Speaking of "Katyushas", here's a crazy ass video of Russians launching Iskanders, Tochka-Us and Smerchs... at the same time! --> http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RVXMwSDZpG4

This is one of my fav videos. Best part around 30sec mark.

The stock has nothing to do with accuracy of the weapon system. More stability and controlability during rapid fire

[–]AxeySmartist 0 points1 point ago

Exactly! That's why they don't bother putting a stock on all those bolt-action sniper "weapon-systems". A stock would only get in the way. ಠ_ಠ

I KNOW RIGHT! Thats why pistols have NO accuracy at all! No stock. Can't possibly hope to group with one of those things cause it has no stock. Probably shouldn't even put sights on them, much less scopes on hunting revolvers. Cause everyone knows you can't POSSIBLY hit ANYTHING without a stock.

You can still aim and hit shit without a stock, fucktard. Hence... accuracy!

Yes, fellow fucktard, ACCURACY! In theory you can reach out hundreds of yards with a pistol if you can somehow aim it accurately. I should have known better than to use sarcasm, but my point was that your original post was completely pedantic. Accuracy from a theoretical standpoint and from a practical standpoint are two different things. I think we both knew what OP meant - You can't shoot a rifle as accurately without a stock (rapid fire or otherwise). Regardless, I'm very sorry to have questioned your superior knowledge of weapons systems.

Bullshit you cant shoot an AK accurately without a stock. Extend the sling until the sling is tight and you have forward pressure, acquire a sight picture, and squeeze the trigger. It's just about forward pressure on the weapon system with the sling vs. rearward pressure with the stock. It's an SAS MP5k technique. It is colloquially referred to as "SAS Style". And if it's good enough for the god damn SAS, it's good enough for me

And you can shoot out hundreds of yards with a pistol, no stock needed. Not "in theory" but in reality. If it can be done with a pistol that has to be aimed high in order to hit at distance due to non adjustable sights, then it can definitely be done with a zeroable rifle.
