Rules

  1. No screenshots, or pictures with added or superimposed text. This includes image macros, comics, info-graphics and most diagrams. Text (e.g. a URL) serving to credit the original author is exempt.

  2. No gore or porn. NSFW content must be tagged.

  3. No personal information. This includes anything hosted on Facebook's servers, as they can be traced to the original account holder. Stalking & harassment will not be tolerated.

  4. No solicitation of votes (including "cake day" posts), posts with their sole purpose being to communicate with another redditor, or [FIXED] posts. DAE posts go in /r/DoesAnybodyElse. "Fixed" posts should be added as a comment to the original image.

  5. Submissions must link directly to a specific image file or to an image hosting website with minimal ads. We do not allow blog hosting of images ("blogspam"), but links to albums on image hosting websites are okay. URL shorteners are prohibited.

  • If your submission appears to be filtered but definitely meets the above rules, please send us a message with a link to the comments section of your post (not a direct link to the image). Don't delete it as that just makes the filter hate you!

  • If you come across any rule violations, please report the submission or message the mods and one of us will remove it!

Please also try to come up with original post titles. Submissions that use certain clichés/memes will be automatically tagged with a warning.

Uh, do you mean couple?

You can't be a parent without any children.

[–]DHav123 135 points136 points ago

Unless they sold their kids for money.

[–]Strideo 34 points35 points ago

You're right! I've totally misinterpreted this.

[–]Iable-A 12 points13 points ago

Bible says it's ok to sell your daughter into slavery

[–]CitizenPremier 3 points4 points ago

Better to sell her before she disobeys you and you have to stone her.

[–]3dimka 1 point2 points ago

Or adopted Bills.

[–]skin_diver 0 points1 point ago

That would explain the money.

[–]Baulan -1 points0 points ago

For money? As opposed to?

[–]DHav123 5 points6 points ago

Bartering. So....selling their children for other, more attractive children. I imagine a 2 for 1 type deal.

[–]Baulan 9 points10 points ago

[–]fractalife 0 points1 point ago

The sacks with dollar signs on them filled with index cards.

Food? Power? Sexual favors?

Uhm, he looks underfed... 5 kW."

LOL, thanks! :)

[–]raw031979b 6 points7 points ago

I disagree. If you had a child and he / she died say...in a car accident. So in fact you are childless parents.

but more importantly we now know who to rob!

[–]woodc85 2 points3 points ago

also, you could have a life insurance policy on that kid, leading to a big pile of money

[–]Strideo 0 points1 point ago

Then where is the sticker with the grave? :P

[–]Scarbane 2 points3 points ago

[–]DocTavia 1 point2 points ago

Why is there a companion cube in kotor? I haven't played that game in years, and I recognize it.

[–]whatupnig 0 points1 point ago

The OP isn't very smart... He proves it time and time again in the comments below.

[–]sportsgame12 0 points1 point ago

sloowww

[–]konakid4321 1 point2 points ago

Uhh who drives a "kia" and says they are rich

[–]William_Harzia 0 points1 point ago

People who go on 4 tropical vacations a year.

[–]jignha -1 points0 points ago

You can be a parent w/o any biological children. If you disagree, there's plenty of good foster/adoptive parents out there than can testify to that.

[–]Strideo 2 points3 points ago

I didn't say that they had to conceive children. I said they had to have children.

[–]Rhakan 1 point2 points ago

Parents without biological children wouldn't be "kidless".

[–]Pwag -3 points-2 points ago

Do you count abortions and miscarriages? Maybe she's been scraped more times than the bumpers on grandma's cadillac.

[–]zoon82 46 points47 points ago

Also known as DINKs. Dual Income, No kids.

[–]Misharum_Kittum 32 points33 points ago

[–]SweetNugsOGlory 12 points13 points ago

as in.. Dinkleberg?!

[–]theskaboss006 18 points19 points ago

Yup, that's why Timmy's dad was always jealous that his neighbors could afford so much that they couldn't.

[–]SweetNugsOGlory 3 points4 points ago

Its amazing right now I feel like so many things make more sense

[–]destiny24 1 point2 points ago

Wasn't there an episode based on that and Timmy ran away?

[–]coleosis1414 1 point2 points ago

TIL Fairly Oddparents had deep themes.

[–]MixT 0 points1 point ago

How could I be so blind.

[–]skrillexisokay 1 point2 points ago

[–]catherinej 0 points1 point ago

Skrillex AND Glee? Damn, son.

[–]Aknightsword 1 point2 points ago

Huh hlah!

[–]DHav123 14 points15 points ago

We have cats (3yo Abby and 6 mth Siamese), no kids. We call ourselves DICKs (Double Income, Cat and Kitten)

[–]longroadplease -1 points0 points ago

Tacky shit.

[–]4LostSoulsinaBowl 3 points4 points ago

Fucking DINKs. And I'm sitting here as a NINK.

[–]terrenceistheman 2 points3 points ago

does that make me a SINK?

[–]dontlookatmynameok 4 points5 points ago

Nah, the proper term is OINK.

[–]terrenceistheman 0 points1 point ago

oh yeah.. derr.. OINK is better anyway

[–]LettersFromTheSky 0 points1 point ago

I would be a SINK.

[–]CoyoteStark 0 points1 point ago

That was the title the last time this as posted.

[–]texasota 59 points60 points ago

Relevant Comic: http://xkcd.com/946/

[–]ScannerBrightly 3 points4 points ago

Can't believe this is so far down.

[–]SinceBecausePickles 1 point2 points ago

Only reason I came to the comments was to find this.

[–]ninjajaja 31 points32 points ago

That's cool but why drive a Soul then?

[–]b_deam 37 points38 points ago

Maybe they're gingers, they need to

[–]attheoffice 7 points8 points ago

So they can hold on to that pile of money, obvs. Rich people don't get rich by spending their money.

[–]cobolNoFun 3 points4 points ago

yeah my thoughts exactly.... "a soul? must be all ones"

[–]gr33nspan 0 points1 point ago

But the dancing hamsters!

[–]cmmoyer 2 points3 points ago

And that is why I will never drive a Kia.

[–]SamuraiJakkass86 0 points1 point ago

I am in a DINK marriage. We drive a Hyundai Accent (2011). It's cheap, good on gas mileage - and helps us stay DINKs! I don't know who said it, something about the rich not getting richer by spending money.. yada yada.

[–]woodc85 -1 points0 points ago

The last time I saw this posted, somebody shit on the Soul. It's is a perfectly average car, with plenty of redeeming qualities. Economy, compactness, space, price and so on.

[–]SaltyBabe 1 point2 points ago

Kia also has excellent warranties.

[–]ghotier 5 points6 points ago

These things always make me think of military pilots who put decals of their kills on the noses of their planes. I guess this guy killed a couple and stole their money.

[–]chetter44 2 points3 points ago

DINKLEBERG!!!!!

[–]thanksfine 4 points5 points ago

That right there is a Kia Soul....They can't have that much money.

[–]OrangeCurtain 2 points3 points ago

I don't think you understand spending vs saving.

[–]coowhipp 11 points12 points ago

Aren't childless parents just people...

[–]Ginsoakedboy21 15 points16 points ago

Smart people.

[–]xAtarigeekx 19 points20 points ago

EVERYONE WHO HAS CHILDREN IS STUPID AMIRITE#?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?

[–]Nyrin 1 point2 points ago

p -> q; ~p therefore ~q?

[–]Daibuoxx -1 points0 points ago

What?

[–]BowsNToes21 7 points8 points ago

Family friends of ours have opted out of kids, they constantly talk about their travels and looked extremely young despite their age, it was at that point I decided to never have those parasites.

[–]Iamtheshazbot 0 points1 point ago

You are that parasite.

[–]BowsNToes21 0 points1 point ago

To be fair I have told both of them if the other passes away they are more than welcome to come live with me and I would never put them in a home. More than I can say for most peoples children.

[–]3dimka 2 points3 points ago

No, they are just dead ends of the evolution.

[–]heyyoufatass 0 points1 point ago

If you're going to be a dead end you might as well be a happy one!

[–]thermocoffee 7 points8 points ago

Anyone think they maybe sold their children? That's explains why they're parents and why they drive a KIA Soul...

[–]BrobaFett 3 points4 points ago

Ah yes, the kidless parents.

An elusive pair... almost as rare as the married bachelor.

[–]TheBlackGuy 1 point2 points ago

kia soul lolol

[–]Justwokeup 7 points8 points ago

I am a criminal, I will follow you home, Thank you.

[–]accountnotfound2 2 points3 points ago

I would bet they have the cash for an alarm and plenty of guns. Maybe not a great idea.

[–]smellthyscrote 11 points12 points ago

How many times is this going to be posted?

[–]Bobmas94 0 points1 point ago

Came here to say this. Came on it in the process.

[–]Jaybleezie 4 points5 points ago

Well that's another way to let burglars know who to follow home.

[–]kapelin 9 points10 points ago

I think /r/childfree would like this

[–]bannana 11 points12 points ago

We've seen it many times.

[–]Catalyst6 3 points4 points ago

Good lord. We need a way to weaponize needless smugness, we could just steamroll anyone we wanted with such a gigantic cache.

[–]mle70 6 points7 points ago

just saying ... http://imgur.com/P1WLt

[–]lets_learn 5 points6 points ago

Considering most women work these days, that doesn't really make sense. It should be two people with two piles of money and one person with one pile of money. And since the couple shares a lot of stuff, especially housing, they might even have more per person. I'm a single guy, but I still think DINK is the best situation.

[–]Pwag 2 points3 points ago

Men have higher earning power when they disregard females and choose to achieve riches.

[–]OrangeCurtain 1 point2 points ago

If I were single that pile of cash would be a pile of motorcycles and jet skis and bar tabs.

[–]Zimm42 12 points13 points ago

For me as a father, having kids is fulfilling in a way that money can't buy. I'm happy, but I don't need validation by putting stickers on my car. Whether you are a dad or a DINK, these stickers make you seem insecure.

[–]bladepsycho 10 points11 points ago

I have no desire to have kids in the foreseeable future, but I think the decals depicting the family are cute, especially if the pets are included.

[–]Nyrin 4 points5 points ago

I agree and find bumper stickers of any sort to be annoying (there's also at least some evidence that shows them as predictors for aggressive behavior), but I can sympathize a little bit with the cheeky backlash against the flood of stupid family decals.

If you live in or near any sort of suburban baby factory, you'll sometimes run into seven or eight of these in a row plopped on the backs of minivans and SUVs. It gets old pretty quick, and though I wouldn't do it, I can see people making fun of it like this.

[–]toThe9thPower 2 points3 points ago

I would say they are more in reply to the endless sea of stickers on peoples cars about how many kids they have. You say your life is more fulfilling and money can't give the same benefits? Not everyone is going to see it that way, I don't want kids and I know this isn't just something I need to mature on. Also the time you have to invest, and the risk of fucking them up terribly is just far too great for some people to handle.

[–]heyyoufatass 2 points3 points ago

The stickers are important! They make it so emergency workers will know how many bodies to locate in the smoldering wreckage of the minivan.

[–]goats_are_people 1 point2 points ago

I don't have kids or stickers (although I do have several windows) so maybe I'm wrong but it seems to me that those sticker sets are not validation but celebration.

Except for the ones that are a single person and seventeen cats.

[–]roguevalley 0 points1 point ago

Not necessarily. I think it's both funny and poignant.

[–]dietotaku -2 points-1 points ago

what's poignant about "HAHAHA LOOK AT ALL THE MONEY WE HAVE BECAUSE WE DON'T HAVE KIDS!!"?

[–]roguevalley 1 point2 points ago

poignant for me because I have kids and no piles of money.

[–]TripsOro 2 points3 points ago

We have a word for that. It's called "adults."

[–]ArgonGryphon 0 points1 point ago

I wish not having kids automatically meant more money. Really it just means I'm not digging myself into debt.

Edit: can't brain, accidentally word.

[–]will_holmes 1 point2 points ago

/r/childfree is leaking again. Not that there's anything wrong with that, I still don't see having kids as a worthwhile venture.

[–]foreveragoan 2 points3 points ago

"I have three kids and no money. Why can't I have no kids and three money?"

[–]03Titanium 0 points1 point ago

"Hey everyone me and my partner are the only ones and we have lots of money to buy stuff with"

[–]hallalotus 0 points1 point ago

was this taken in WI?

[–]andre1rt -1 points0 points ago

Oh, this couple doesn't have any young goats? That must make us all so wealthy.

[–]ClearlyDoesntGetIt 0 points1 point ago

Childless father

[–]jesse9212 0 points1 point ago

All that money but they still choose the colour puke green...

[–]stuckinmiddleschool 0 points1 point ago

Ah, the old DINKs. Love 'em.

[–]nutters20 -1 points0 points ago

rich, driving a kia soul the green one

[–]MrHarryReems 0 points1 point ago

Or, possibly rich because they don't waste income on a depreciating asset, like an expensive automobile.

[–]crankypants_mcgee -1 points0 points ago

DINK: Rob our house! We have lots of cool expensive toys!

[–]mitchstanton 0 points1 point ago

LOL! I wish this were true.

[–]Demence 0 points1 point ago

DINKS!!

[–]zbrasseur1 1 point2 points ago

Every time something like this is posted I get the feeling that reddit hates kids. Why is that?

[–]thinly_veiled 2 points3 points ago

I don't hate kids, but refuse to breed. Here's some reading.

[–]dredawg 0 points1 point ago

Not if your a kidless parENT.....

[–]DeadlyFuryG3 0 points1 point ago

You mean DINKS duel income no kids

[–]HotwaxNinjaPanther 0 points1 point ago

I wish my life was a DINK, but I'm single so I'm just an INK.

[–]Lobanium 0 points1 point ago

So can parents with kids who also have money use this too?

[–]cheeekamoomoo 0 points1 point ago

My ultimate goal is to get one of the gal stickers and cat stickers, and plaster them all the way to the other side of the window.

[–]YNot1989 0 points1 point ago

Dual income, no kids.

[–]simjanes2k 1 point2 points ago

A lot of my friends are DINKs. I am on a path to not be one of them.

I am reconsidering.

[–]TheOneJosh 0 points1 point ago

Wow. No kidding.

[–]CGord 1 point2 points ago

Pretty much. Last time I googled it was it cost around $225,000 to raise a kid from birth to 17 in the US middle class.

[–]jessoliveyou 0 points1 point ago

You can't be a parent if your kidless

[–]oliverh72 -1 points0 points ago

I'm so getting this sticker.

[–]TheLoveTin 0 points1 point ago

Great, now I know whose home to rob.

[–]kaahle 1 point2 points ago

it's funny because these stickers are on a KIA...

[–]Walkensboots 0 points1 point ago

If someone had that sticker where I live, they'd get followed home...

[–]Googalyfrog 0 points1 point ago

kidless parents? isn't that an oxymoron? unless you are referring to all the children having grown up and moved out. it would be childless couple, you can't be a parent unless you have kids/children of some kind.

[–]Panzie-Kraut 0 points1 point ago

Who the fuck you callin an oxymoron????

[–]sixthusernametry 0 points1 point ago

This is a re posted for the millionth time...I just don't know the site that counts how many times.

[–]Mor_Havok 0 points1 point ago

D.I.N.K. Dual Income No Kids

[–]UltraClaymation 1 point2 points ago

Rich yet they drive a Kia

[–]remug 0 points1 point ago

follow them home and take their money..

[–]risto1116 0 points1 point ago

Dual income- no kids. The good life.

[–]hammeat 1 point2 points ago

Repost

[–]akpenguin 1 point2 points ago

Mine would be just the guy with 2 piles of money.

[–]thedonkdonk 2 points3 points ago

I have one of those. I asked for it on Reddit a while back and some guy made it, http://epvinylworks.com/products.php?20

[–]akpenguin 1 point2 points ago

like a sir

[–]SometimesIntelligent -1 points0 points ago

Wouldn't you be Kidless Couple? You can't be parents if you're kidless.

[–]bannana 0 points1 point ago

/r/childfree, come on over.

[–]accountnotfound2 -3 points-2 points ago

Yep!

[–]Mi5anthr0pe -5 points-4 points ago

"LOOK AT HOW HAPPY WE ARE, WE WON'T DIE ALONE, LOOK AT ALL THIS MONEY, LOOK AT ALL THIS GREEN, LEAFY HAPPINESS THAT WILL SURROUND ME ON MY DEATHBEAD... I'M SO HAPPY WORLD... SO HAPPY..."

[–]Izzeh 3 points4 points ago

If you're having children so you won't die alone (and presumably to take care of you when you're old) you're doing it wrong.

They could;

  • die before you,
  • hate you,
  • move so far away that the possibility of them doing anything for you is non-existant,
  • the list goes on and on.

There are plenty of reasons to have them (none of which appeal to me personally, but hey, do whatever you want and let me do the same), but that should not be one of them.

[–]DamianTD -2 points-1 points ago

So get rid of female stick figure and triple cash pile, FTW. Plus with all that money you can have a bunch of girlfriends.

[–]skinnystevie -3 points-2 points ago

dink. double income no kids

[–]RhinoSand 0 points1 point ago

Yes, we covered this already....

[–]skinnystevie -1 points0 points ago

guess i didn't read enough comments

[–]goonkus_18 0 points1 point ago

ha ha Kia Soul.... yeah real rich
