My history teacher Mr Simpson in high school told us he was colorblind and couldn't see the color red. One of his students decided to write on the final exam in big red marker "Mr Simpson SUCKS". Well, obviously, he could still see it, only in gray :P Funniest thing ever.

Dad is colorblind too. He has more trouble distinguishing between things like navy, purple, black... and shades of certain colors he gets confused. Like green and blue. Or orange and yellow. He likes to argue that he's not color blind but everyone else is. :P

For all of you saying this isn't how being color blind works you're mostly right. However there are rare cases in which a person cannot process any colors and can only see in black, white, and grey. It's called Achromatopsia

Yeeeah, my little brudda has red-green pigment deficiency colorblindness and he can solve a cube in like a minute, minute and a half. Not only can he see the difference in hues on the stickers, but apparently it's just one combination of moves every time. He has it memorized. No matter who messes up the rubix or how they do it, solving it is the same long string of turns.

Even if someone was totally "colour blind" (i.e. monochromatic), they still wouldn't fuck up matching these colours because they could tell the difference based on brightness.
