The songs from Fallout 3 are licensed songs though, not video game music.

Golden age of video game music?... I don't hear any FF VI music in there

[–]Timae09 0 points1 point ago

Although not as golden I must throw in FF VIII as well.

IMO a beautiful soundtrack.

Song is by The Ink Spots ('I don't want to set the world on fire'), a few of their songs have been used in the Fallout series including 'Maybe'. Really good tunes.

[–]PipBoy808[S] 0 points1 point ago

I was unaware 'Maybe' was by them but I can totally hear it now.

My grandpa plays this song on the last Sunday of every month. He hes an Ink Spots tattoo under his U.S. NAVY anchor tattoo. True story.

This is the type of music I LOVE. I'm glad that this is popular(ish) now!

This makes me cry cause fallout 3(the best one) doesn't run on windows 7 :(

[–]PaulMorel 6 points7 points ago

You never played New Vegas.

[–]carleyFTW 2 points3 points ago

New Vegas was better in most terms (Perks, Level caps, guns, ADS, etc.)but nothing really compares to the atmosphere Fallout 3 sets.

[–]RocketPapaya413 3 points4 points ago

Definitely. As a game, I much prefer Fallout: New Vegas on almost all accounts. Setting, game mechanics, story, just about everything. The two exceptions are the music and level design. Fallout 3 just did a significantly better job on both accounts.

Does this help? FO3 Windows 7 x64 fix

[–]G_A 0 points1 point ago

In what way does it not work?

I played it for a small while last time Steam had a large sale.

Completely unexpected, but I was pleasantly surprised. Have an upvote.

Implying this is "video game music" is pretty ignorant.

[–]traviu 0 points1 point ago

Nice gif! But when the music started I tought he was listening to Megadeth!

[–]stevejFTW 0 points1 point ago

If you havent seen The Crazies don't click on this, it is the ending.Thought this was kind of fitting. Make sure to mute the video on the left.

The first thing I do whenever I get some form of old audio equipment is play this song. It makes me happy. The entire soundtrack is great actually!
