Did you think why, exactly, the kids were being filmed? Not by chance.

They were purposefully pissing off the drivers so they could get footage.
The adults filming wanted the kids to be hit by a car so they could get footage.

All so they can use it to incite further hate and violence. That's what's truly horrifying.

As an aside, I'd be pretty pissed if they pelted my car too.

I'd be pissed, too, and I know they were up to no good, but I don't think I'd ever kill someone over throwing rocks at my car. Two wrongs don't make a right. Just because they're irrational and kill people over stupid things doesn't mean other people have to, as well.

Two wrongs don't make a right, but sometimes one wrong can make another wrong right. It's wrong to run over someone, but if that someone suddenly runs in front of a fast moving vehicle, it is no longer wrong but an accident. Leaving the scene of an accident is wrong, but when your life is in danger by violent criminals, running is no longer wrong.

Morality can often be easily argued between cultures, but that morality should at least follow some kind of valid logic. "Two wrongs don't make a right" is too often said without consideration to what is wrong and what is right.

    is it me or does it look like from the video that the kid literally ran at the car with the stone? Now, Im not saying that its just the kids fault but obviously the driver was panicked and was trying to get away. The car even stopped after it hit the kid.. probably because the driver felt bad, but then they started pelting the stones at the car...

    It just seems rather one-sided for journalists to decry the story as 'Car Hits Palestinian Boy' without the entire context of the situation. 'Panicked driver hits rioting boy running at car while throwing stones' seems more accurate.

      No, it wasn't. He was just minding his own business when he drove past the Palestinians who were throwing rocks at random cars. He had the choice of stopping for the children blocking his car, which would have resulted in more damage to his car (or himself, depending on how aggressive they were), or he could slam the pedal to the metal and get away with as little harm as possible.

      Now, before you accuse me of being an Israeli sympathiser, know that I couldn't give less of a shit about either side of the conflict. As far as I see it, Israel is a shithole of inept idiots fighting over arbitrary lines on a map, but that doesn't prevent me from taking great pleasure in watching natural selection in action (The whole standing-in-front-of-a-speeding-car-that's-under-attack part)

      EDIT: Also, somebody shoot the fucking adults filming this, encouraging the children to do this.
