Yeah, I'm actually surprised to see this many babies at once. When I took AP environmental science in high school, we learned how difficult is for pandas, especially ones in captivity, to mate. I thought just one or two baby pandas being born at a zoo would be a big deal.

Hahaha I wrote about pandas and their issues with mating. Big surprise, I know.

I loved that class. I had an amazing teacher who was a little out there, but really cool. He had geothermal heating in his house, composted his garbage, kept a bunch of fainting goats as pets, etc. Since I'm from the Jersey Shore, we could survey the beaches in Seaside Heights as a class lab. Really great stuff.

In the Atlanta Zoo, the giant pandas refused to mate naturally so artificial insemination was used to have them breed. So far, the giant panda couple has had a girl (she was sent to China a couple of years ago) and a boy (who's due to be sent to China next year or so).

Ok I see only 11 were sleeping and one was awake. I was suffering from hysterical blindness, projectile vomiting, and explosive diarrhea at the time I wrote the post description. Also Chuck Norris was breaking into the upstairs window to murder a friend in a revenge killing. I had a lot on my mind and overlooked that one baby panda was not in fact, asleep. I'm sure FOX news will be all over this in the morning.
