It's actually a thing in Hollywood. They have various props that are used in nearly every movie and t.v. show. Some are reused as inside jokes to the producers and such, some like this newspaper are reused because they cannot contain any 'real' news from the media. Therefore recreating a fake newspaper for every episode that needs one is too costly.

Kinda blew my mind last night, was watching Futurama, and saw the episode, "A Bicyclops Built for Two" - in which Alcazar is basically Al Bundy; and Leela (voiced by Katey Sagal) basically becomes Peggy Bundy.
