I would like to know whats going on here, but Balthanos is right. Debt is the slavery society puts around you're neck. Romans were bastards with it. If you aquired too much debt you actually lost your citizenship, then if you ever paid back your debt, you were only a freed man, not a citizen. A while after the Roman Empire fell apart, which I could talk about for a while, but I'll spare you, Christians were most part completely against debt taking, and this is the history behind the Merchant of Venice play Shakespeare wrote, and has Anti-Sematism in. Not that Shakespeare was an AntiSemite that I know of or suspect, but he put it in because typically only Hebrews were giving out loans as wealthy men, or bankers. Keep in mind when I say this, only a few Hebrews were wealthy enough to do this, but this is where the stereotype originated, historically, and immortalized by the play. Would you buy a beer on a visa credit card if you infact couldn't pay it for around 4-6 years? No, don't buy shit with those loans unless you have too. save every dime, let it collect interest in your savings account, then turn around after graduating, WHEN the interest starts collecting on your loans, and then make a fat down payment on those loans. In no way is this a bad idea or can possibly come back to bite you.

besides, living paycheck to paycheck is a shitty existence.
