Post pictures of things that look like faces, or anything that looks like something that it's not. Or sounds like something else. Or smells like something else.

For those who are interested in pareidolia in their beer check out /r/beeriadolia/.

Pareidolia adulterated with googly-eyes are not allowed, but would be welcomed by /r/EyeBombing.

Someone clearly works at a deli.

Judging by the cheese, that's some high quality lacey swiss.

Stainless steel counter top, and edge of slicer in shot, along with cutting board. All look very clean.

You either work for Kroger, or QFC

Safeway doesn't carry good swiss.

I've been meaning to ask, does it count as pareidolia if the object has obviously been manipulated to look like a face/something it's not?

[–]naturalethic 5 points6 points ago

If the source is not obviously manipulated from the perspective of the observer, then it the phenomenon can still occur in the observer. If they realize a manipulation, then it would be something else, however they may still self-delude to such effectiveness as to allow the phenomenon to yet occur.
