This statement is true but not in the way House wants it to be true. House is asserting a proof here for the denial that bias clings to. House is atheist, but it's out of hatred of God he denies God because his leg is sore 24/7/365 (sometimes 366), not because House actually believes God does not exist. This kind of atheist hates God and therefore denies him.

Because of this, House does good deeds without any sanctuary from Heaven in his future and he is therefore a saint, and possibly the second coming of Christ or at least the model of this kind of phenomenon.

I love the philosophy of House. Everybody lies. Powerful stuff!

House here is proving he is actually a true believer. If he could reason with someone who is religion and God fearing, then he would convince the person they are in the wrong... but it is also House who is in denial but out of spite not out of ignorance. House knows God exists and is only atheist because of this fact.

If House was truly atheist he would accept his fate and stop pestering people with his spite towards God... he would just shrug and take another pill.

But at the same time, this character flaw is what makes the character of House interesting, so I am certainly not complaining about any of it. He's awesome! :)
