Post pictures of cartoons/movies that have been redrawn in a different style. A good example would be an image of the South Park characters done anime style.

"Alternative art, although I do not have a dictionary defined definition, is art that intends to reflect its original design/theme but different art techniques, themes, styles or other varying "twists" are added to make the art original and "alternative""

A bit of the ol' ultra-violence, eh?

[–]LuxNocte 14 points15 points ago

Some men just want to see a bit of the ol' ultraviolence. And we're very, very pissed off.

Is that what a man looks like?

[–]shonka91 2 points3 points ago

Yeah, real horrorshow.

Malcom McDowell as Alex in A Clockwork Orange

Heath Ledger as the Joker in The Dark Knight

Brad Pitt as Tyler Durden in Fight Club

I so wish that I had the face structure to use this as a Halloween costume...

[–]zergberg 2 points3 points ago

Because some men just want to watch the world burn.

[–]thebennubird 3 points4 points ago

One of these things is not like the others

[–]cablejimmy 3 points4 points ago

What?

[–]Shasne 3 points4 points ago

Well IMO Tyler wasn't a bad guy.

[–]Xorpher 10 points11 points ago

It's about being chaotic.

[–]cablejimmy 2 points3 points ago

And Tyler's on the right side because he's less evil than the joker, who is less evil than Alex.

[–]PicklesofTruth 3 points4 points ago

he's no doubt the antagonist of the book/film, even if he's not a villain.

Oh how I love this.

"Some men just want to watch the world burn"

They are entirely different characters... Well At least Tyler has no business being combined with the other two...

[–]funnels[S] 7 points8 points ago

The book version of Tyler does.

[–]mattchoo86 2 points3 points ago

I think if you look at the common theme among all 3 characters, I think Tyler fits in well.

And, in the order the characters are displayed here, I think you can even see progression.

I'd say Alex fits the least. The Joker and Tyler are both motivated by anarchy whereas Alex is just a selfish jerk.
