C'mon! Fairness is overrated really. Wouldn't we be much better off if we had an underclass of people willing to work for less than minimum wage? It would make Gina's operations more profitable, and of course we would all see the trickle down benefits of that. More importantly, it would make my pizza and haircuts cheaper.

Plus with no tax revenue (they're overrated too) to pay for social health or proper education, we could guarantee that the plebs and their kids stay poor and willing to work for peanuts. We'd have to be prepared for a small percentage to beat the odds and escape their condition, but that's nothing to worry about, we could easily absorb them and they would serve as good examples of why the plebs' condition is of their own making - if they really wanted to they could fight to better their condition

The only catch is you have to invest in a bit of private security (e.g. gated communities, personal firearms, bodyguards etc.) because persistent poverty causes a little bit of discontent amongst the plebs. But, that would be a small price to pay.

This Fair Go mentality seems a bit too fluffy and utopian. It's time to take Australia to the next level.
