[–]catdogs_boner 56 points57 points ago

Does anyone know what she was actually reacting to originally?

[–]gaviidae 23 points24 points ago

[–]Crosshare 43 points44 points ago

That was disappointing.

[–]legendlazy 26 points27 points ago

There was another video from the crowd where you could hear someone shouted something along the lines of "Jennifer, will you marry me?". That's what she was reacting to.

[–]YesButConsiderThis 6 points7 points ago

I never realized that was Katniss.

[–]Tspyder90 0 points1 point ago

I must have missed it. When did she do that reaction?

EDIT: Nvm, found it. What was she responding to though?

[–]TurtleCowz -2 points-1 points ago

LOLOL " I bet that bone would feel great. I meant smell!"

[–]Shoemaster 70 points71 points ago

"I've got your IP address, you're done, bro!"

[–]MrIceCap 50 points51 points ago

I like poop lol u got hacked don't leave ur facebook open!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

[–]wkdown 8 points9 points ago

my brother in law checks his FB on other people's computers and doesn't sign out. So we constantly set his status to "I <3 Pinterest". He thinks he is getting hacked cuz he changes his password all the time. Dont have the heart to tell him; plus its hilarious.

[–]ordona 1 point2 points ago

Dont have the heart to tell him

Possibly because you already used the heart in the "I <3 Pinterest" status.

[–]lakerswiz 19 points20 points ago

I love how there's that moment where she goes from thinking about her main point to going on a tangent with 'UnBelizable'

[–]lurker_becomes_lurkd 1 point2 points ago

Can you tell that from her body language or do you just mean in general?

[–]lakerswiz 2 points3 points ago

Facial expression / body language.

[–]lurker_becomes_lurkd 0 points1 point ago

Interesting. I remember learning about body language from a teacher from my brother's program. He was dyslexic and took a special class to help him learn. She was saying you can tell when someone is changing their line of thought when they look a different direction. You ever notice when someone is thinking, sometimes they look up, or to the side, and it always looks like they're looking past you? Some people are very visual about their thoughts. It helped my brother retain information. She told him to imagine the information is up on a wall. When he thinks, he looks up and scans back and forth, as if he's reading something. It actually helped him. I thought it was bullocks but if it helped, it must be good. When I'm trying to remember something, I generally look down, as if I'm reading a paper on a desk. Sometimes I'll look straight ahead and move my eyes to the right.

[–]lakerswiz 0 points1 point ago

I just generally have a great sense with facial expression / body language.

I walked into my house once and immediately I knew something was wrong. The family seemed normal, just sort of sitting around watching TV, but something was of. I asked what was wrong and sure enough a lady a few places down had passed away.

I've noticed that I can recognize people amazingly well. Yahoo! often times has pictures of celebrities when they were babies on their homepage (default at work). Every time, I instantly know who is who. It's pretty scary.

Oh and this also goes with saying "so and so looks like that person." Hardly anyone can see it, but I notice the smallest of details that they share and can make the correlation.

Myself personally, if I'm having to come up with a quick answer at work or I get interrupted and have to change my line of thinking, I've noticed that I look around alot, almost frantically, while thinking.

[–]Barchen 0 points1 point ago

I'm great at noticing little idiosyncrasies about people, I think I'm just detail oriented. I can recognize celebrity voices even with voice modulation. One time I specifically remember flipping through tv channels, seeing the back on someone's head and (correctly) naming him as the actor in a movie I watched when I was younger. I also identified Sally Sparrow (character on Doctor Who) from the side picture of her in that Drive screen shot that was posted earlier (I have not seen the movie.)

High five for similar ability.

[–]themattwhip 1 point2 points ago

I found that interview on Youtube and watched her say that for like 20 minutes straight. So adorable.

[–]Youngmanandthelake 36 points37 points ago

goddammitall how is she so hot

[–]Mr_Hank_Scorpio 10 points11 points ago

My penis is asking the very same question. last time I buy cheap chinese boner pills.

edit: note to self. Reddit doesn't want to know about my penis. Cease writing penis journal.

[–]jonathanrdt 2 points3 points ago

Wait. You have pills that made your penis sentient??

Do...you have a link to the website?

[–]Mr_Hank_Scorpio 0 points1 point ago

Trust me it's not worth it. My penis mostly talks about bitches and tang. It's really un-PC. I mean you couldn't take him to dinner.

[–]tomius 3 points4 points ago

Upvote for the edit!

[–]nfreakoss 19 points20 points ago

Actually happened to me once. This arrogant asshole kid said he was gonna hack me, and then the next day my computer was completely fucked. Not sure if it was just a coincidence or what, but I was practically amazed.

One way to stay secure is to do the following.

Do not use the same username in other forums or registrations. Use alterations at the end for example username123. Never use family or your own name in a username. Make sure your IP is not logged or stored into a database that leaks such information. Also, use UNIQUE emails, such as having 3 different main emails. Your 1st email should only be used on your MAIN daily use actives, such as facebook/twitter/reddit. And for example 2 should be popular forums or other sites. The 3rd one should be on any site you feel uncomfortable sharing any details.

Oh, I understand this is not a serious post but, hey! the more you know.

Hope this helps... obviously this isn't bullet proof.

[–]veragounet[S] 0 points1 point ago

Yes that is some good advices ! But like you said, don't take this post too seriously or like some kind of challenge... it's just a joke guys, nothing more. PS : sorry for grammar, i'm not english :)

[–]Cosmologicon 0 points1 point ago

Another one that's highly effective that gets overlooked is turning on two-factor verification. I know Google has it, I imagine a lot of other sites do too.

[–]blindingstars 1 point2 points ago

LastPass and Dropbox have both recently announced 2-factor verification using the same Google Authenticator app.

[–]forklad 5 points6 points ago

watch yourself. the 9gag army is on the prowl with their l33t haxorz everywhere

[–]ADF01FALKEN 0 points1 point ago

Don't you DARE remind me of that nimrod BGKumbi.

[–]DemonMuffins 8 points9 points ago

How can people hack me when I got norton?

[–]BaadKitteh 11 points12 points ago

Mostly, the people making threats can't. Couldn't even if you had no anti-virus/spyware programs. Couldn't even with complete access to your machine, if you didn't have your pws/info saved in it. Because people who threaten stuff like that are not the ones you have to worry about.

[–]MuxBoy 2 points3 points ago

magic

[–]atork88 5 points6 points ago

Last year in my internet law class, we had Chris Soghoian visit as a guest speaker. The first thing he said is that if he thinks he notices any of us on facebook instead of listening to him he would hack our accounts and destroy us. This might be the only time I've ever had to take a hacking threat seriously.

[–]plasmatic 2 points3 points ago

If you're on the same wireless network it's not too hard. It was incredibly easy before when not a lot of people used https for facebook... if you find someone not using https facebook, just use wireshark to view the wireless network traffic (filter by HTTP and a specific ip), then inject the header from their facebook session into your firefox... done—you now have full access to their account.

[–]danieljamesfair 0 points1 point ago

Yeah. ELI5?

Jk, don't bother, I still won't understand

[–]clothes_are_optional 0 points1 point ago

essentially, secure sites should almost always use https. otherwise your login information is just plaintext to people that know how to find it

[–]danieljamesfair 0 points1 point ago

Awesome! :D

[–]duggtodeath 4 points5 points ago

127.0.0.1. Hah! I found your IP, faggot. Prepare to be hacked!

[–]Cross88 6 points7 points ago

This guy on Xbox Live once threatened to hack me. He sent me messages telling me he'd stolen my World of Warcraft account. I didn't have one.

[–]lurker_becomes_lurkd 6 points7 points ago

Yeah, because he has it now.

[–]The_Magnificent 13 points14 points ago

Unless it's on 4chan. In that case, you better get a new IP right away.

[–]zuperxtreme 8 points9 points ago

If you're uploading an OC picture to 4chan, you best make sure to remove any identifiable information(landmarks, exif info, etc). Best not to annoy the beast really...

[–]drachenstern 6 points7 points ago

Why would one willingly upload OC to 4C?

[–]xG33Kx 0 points1 point ago

/r9k?

[–]drachenstern -1 points0 points ago

and you lost me

[–]xG33Kx -1 points0 points ago

/r9k has an anti-repost bot, it used to be a nice place but seems to be more whining about women and being beta these days.

[–]drachenstern -2 points-1 points ago

Ah, so it's a group of misogynists hiding out on reddit? Great, good to know, how can I block a sub permanently?

[–]xG33Kx 1 point2 points ago

Wat.

It's a 4chan board. 4chan.org/r9k...

[–]Chocobubba 18 points19 points ago

If my IP winds up on 4chan, I'm quitting the internet.

[–]pr1ntscreen 1 point2 points ago

I know you kid, but seriously just change the ip

[–]veragounet[S] 6 points7 points ago

[–]acheekyrascal 13 points14 points ago

That has to be the worst version of that gif ever created.

[–]TWOoneEIGHT 13 points14 points ago

I expected a gif, not a power point.

[–]danieljamesfair -2 points-1 points ago

You think that's a mistake? Go search "lolita" on http://www.imagefap.com/

[–]duggtodeath 6 points7 points ago

[–]TheJayP 3 points4 points ago

Yeah, I'd rather not.

[–]danieljamesfair 0 points1 point ago

... Fair does

[–]Chondriac 0 points1 point ago

too bad its a reaction JPEG HAH!!!

[–]SkywardBen 3 points4 points ago

You done goofed!

[–]isaac-newton 5 points6 points ago

Classic Katniss.

[–]SkippyTheDog 0 points1 point ago

I want her to have my babies.

Wait...did I say that out loud?

[–]8dash 55 points56 points ago

No, you typed it.

[–]zoso471 0 points1 point ago

Whoa, you're a hot chick?

[–]Smaktat 0 points1 point ago

Regular sentences are always better when said through someone better looking/more popular than us.

[–]failureisrelative 1 point2 points ago

I've yet to figure out if I like this gif because it's funny, or because of the fact that Jennifer Lawrence is in it.

[–]kirizzel 1 point2 points ago

I'm gonna hack you with the VBA GUI I made.

[–]xG33Kx 1 point2 points ago

"I'm going to spend hours guessing your password or hoping you leave a computer or phone logged in!"

[–]Lurking_Grue -1 points0 points ago

So.... what's your IP address?

[–]djsnipy -1 points0 points ago

But my dad works for Microsoft bitch!

[–]gabriot 0 points1 point ago

"I'll kill you in real life!"

[–]UncleTogie 0 points1 point ago

Back when Yahoo let users create their own chat rooms for use with Messenger, this sort of this was common as hell. Someone would find an exploit with YM, and start throwing people out of the rooms as 'proof of their skillzors'.

Solution: Obscure third-party client. Start laughing at them, goading them.. "C'mon, big guy... you've got my IP! What's taking so long? Your mother was a hamster and your father reeked of elderberries!" Watch as they gnash their teeth in frustration. Continue making fun of them. Profit!

[–]PoonmasterPaige 0 points1 point ago

There needs to be an entire subreddit of Jennifer Lawrence gifs...

[–]Mrjetsondc -1 points0 points ago

I want to bone her

[–]Mylesd13 1 point2 points ago

'' My dad is the CEO of Microsoft, I'll get you banned kid!''

[–]Scarjaka -1 points0 points ago

Annnd I'm sick of this subreddit. It was good once.

Once.

[–]GWARgasm -5 points-4 points ago

Why would say "Yeah, okay."? Now they might actually try it!!!

[–]RugerRedhawk 0 points1 point ago

I can't recall a person ever threatening this act upon me in my life. Is this some crap that comes up in video game chat or something like that?

[–]MuxBoy 1 point2 points ago

you're soo getting hacked right now!

[–]veragounet[S] 0 points1 point ago

This happened to me a lot when I played CS : 1.6 and Source (and generally at the beginning of the 2000'). But now i have heard that for the last time on Facebook or on Xbox live. Sorry for grammar, i'm not english :)

[–]BaadKitteh 1 point2 points ago

Bwahaha, agreed... I hate when people use the word "hacked" to mean "I'm a dumbass and left myself logged in/saved my pw on a machine that wasn't mine and someone posted on my Fb wall" or similar. If someone gets into something of yours with your password and they didn't have to work to get it, IT'S NOT HACKING. Not even close; you're just stupid. Pls leave your bank info out next time I'm around so I can "hack" that. =P
