I don't really hate Miranda C. but her acting is pretty terrible. I can't say it's 100% her fault because most of the Nick/Disney pre-teen shows have that terrible wooden over-exuberance, but after being under that kind of training for so long, I doubt she can overcome it easily or effectively. Plus (on a purely superficial note), her mouth and general face shape make her look like daughter of the Joker, who is slightly more attractive than you'd expect, but possibly as insane, judging by the random jumping around and head shaking that she does.
